Great fun and good exercise - This was a really fun thing to do. It’s a big park and it took us an hour and a half to cycle round with a couple of stops to take in some points of interest.

Loved our biking in Central Park - We had a great and seamless experience biking Central Park. The shop was quite easy to find. Even if it was quite a busy day, the bike shop was easy to find. The staff were friendly and definitely efficient. What we loved is the option for us to leave my coat with them, while we biked. The only regret is we didn't book the day pass. Two hours biking in Central Park is not enough. We are definitely coming back, and we'll get the day pass next time. Thank you, guys. Cheers!

Great experience! - Super easy to pick up and drop off bikes, also easy to just pay extra when we went over our pre-paid 1 hour hire. Bikes and helmets all were in good condition. Cheaper than other hires too!

Bike rental Central Park - The service works well. I recommend to book the bikes on the app to avoid long waits at the collection of the same. The return was very fast. The staff is friendly

Lots of queuing! - Good value via Viator, but a long wait for the bikes. Queue to sign waiver, queue again in street for bikes, that all took 90 min to just get the bike. So leave plenty of time . Cycling around Central Park was wonderful. 3 hours allowed us a nice coffee stop and other photo stops on our way around.

Reserved bikes were gone anyway! - With the GoCity vouchers I had reserved 5 bikes in the app of Unlimited biking. Too bad you need a separate app. I also had to pay $1. For what, I don't know. Had contact in advance via SMS and everything was confirmed and seemed in order. When we got there at 9am, it turned out that all the bikes were already rented. If we could come back in the afternoon!! While we had booked for a whole day. Very disappointing service! Not recommended!

Pitiful - Pitiful. A promotional code (10%) communicated by mail for the reservation (code CHECKOUT) which doesn't work but I'm told it's normal. It's only for booking by phone....Never mind, it's the vacations. On site (Central Park), we pick up 3 electric bikes for the day, quickly realizing (but already too late) that one battery isn't fully charged (far from it), soon that one bike no longer has a rear brake (great!) and that another has a saddle that moves backwards because it hasn't been sufficiently secured (happiness!). We return the bikes (Brooklyn Bridge), explaining the inconvenience. We were told that our complaint would be passed on to the agency at fault, and that the absence of a rear brake was an unacceptable fault (phew!). But the best part came on our return to the hotel, when we realized that we had been charged an additional $32.66 on the card used for the reservation, without any explanation. We emailed customer service, but received no response.

Disorganized and excessive requirements for something as simple as a bike rental. - I booked a bike rental through the Go City New York pass, which worked fine as a platform. However, my negative experience was with Unlimited Biking, the company handling the rental. To access the bike, I was required to download an app, register my credit card, and was told I’d be charged $1 “just for verification.” When I asked for a receipt, I was told: “It’s just one dollar,” as if it didn’t matter. But the issue isn’t the amount — it’s the lack of transparency. If every customer is charged $1, that becomes a significant sum the company collects without providing any additional service. Additionally, they physically held my ID, which is unjustifiable considering they already had my credit card information. Even hotels secure deposits digitally without charging or holding IDs. To make things worse, my reservation clearly stated 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., yet I was told to return the bikes by 6:45 p.m. When I asked why, they said it was a “system error” in their own app. No alternative or compensation was offered. I went through with it only because I had plans with my son that I didn’t want to cancel. The ride was fine, but the overall process was disappointing. Go City remains a good value, but I would definitely avoid Unlimited Biking.

Bikes not properly maintained and charging additional hidden fees - Want to charge extra insurance and if you refuse to pay extra costs. Bicycles were not well maintained and children's bikes were not adapted to age range at all. Definitely not recommended
