Experience New York City’s most famous landmarks and buildings up close on this popular helicopter tour, departing from and returning to the Manhattan Heliport. This unique tour is narrated by the pilot, offering both modern and historical insights.
As you fly over the city that never sleeps, you’ll get a bird’s-eye view of NYC’s top attractions, including One World Trade Center, the Empire State Building, Times Square, The Intrepid Museum, Central Park, Yankee Stadium, and Columbia University.
- A valid government-issued photo ID (passport or driver’s license) is required at check-in. Passengers without ID will not be permitted to fly and no refund will be issued.
- Children aged 2 and over must have their own seat and pay the full fare.
- Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled flight, or 45 minutes if traveling after 4:00 PM due to traffic.
- You may fly anytime between your check-in and flight time.
- All passengers must complete security screening before entering the building.
- Seating is arranged according to weight for safety. Passengers over 275 lbs (124 kg) must purchase an additional seat.
- A rebooking fee will apply for changes made within 24 hours of your flight or for missed flights.
- Flights may be canceled if minimum requirements are not met; in such cases, you will be offered an alternative flight or a full refund.
- No parking is available on site; please plan accordingly.
- Sunset views are not guaranteed.

A fantastic flight over NYC with a friendly and professional operator - We really enjoyed our flight over NYC. Booking and all communication before the flight were very professional. And the staff on the ground and pilot were outstanding. The tour really gives you a great overview of NYC.

The best way to see New York City. - Smooth easy to navigate experience. Pier 6 Heliport is easy to access. Sharp and organised staff on the ground and a great pilot. A must do.

A little expensive with the $40... - A little expensive with the $40 that must be added on site and moreover it would take a maximum of 5 people and not 6 in the helicopter

Nice experience, but on purpose unpunctual - Well organized, friendly staff and a great way to get to know New York.
There are 6 seats on board: one next to the pilot, behind it a row of 3 (i.e. a seat in the middle without sitting directly at the window) and a row of 2 behind it (without a middle seat). Luckily I sat at the window and saw everything great. In the middle, I think that's already more difficult and I would think it would be fair if the space cost less.
What wasn't so nice was that you didn't stick to the booked time and on purpose. My husband and I had deliberately booked so that there was an hour in between (so that one could stay on the ground with the children). But my husband was only allowed to fly two hours after me and in between other people were preferred. Probably a group of 6 arrived spontaneously without reservation and because of course there was no longer a completely free time window for 6 people, the staff then apparently pushed bookings of other people back to offer the group a flight option together. My husband was not asked if he might be willing to fly later (which would have been at least polite). Only excuses have been invented as to why he now has to wait longer, but others are allowed to fly to his time slot. That was already very annoying, as we were traveling with 2 toddlers and they of course have no understanding of being bored there for 3 hours. This has messed up our schedule and I would have preferred to see more of NY instead. Those who do not book beforehand are out of luck and should not be treated preferentially!!!

Not worth the cost. - The original cost was 840. Then there was an additional 40 dollars per person fee. Finally, an additional cost for pictures. The flight is not worth 1k.

Price/performance not consistent - Well organized process and super friendly staff. However, the helicopter is fully booked (6 people). In our case, there were four of us flying with two other strangers. This would not be a problem in principle, but one person had to sit in the back center without a window. That this space is allocated at such prices is an imposition. The view is completely limited and the experience is not even half as great. At these prices, care should be taken that everyone has a window seat. Unfortunately, this has clouded the experience of our group.
The helicopter flight was very exciting, the view itself was okay. You could see better/closer from viewing platforms. You fly up and down the East River so you can see the same thing on both sides. Our group was sitting on the left, so we saw Manhatten on the return flight, but here we flew by quite far from Manhatten.
On the positive side: one person from our group was allowed to sit at the front of the pilot, which is of course a special experience. Nevertheless, price/performance was not consistent for us as a whole.
