- Brookfield Place - The premier shopping center in Lower Manhattan. Enjoy breathtaking views, impressive architecture, and palm trees. This building provided refuge for numerous survivors and first responders.
- America’s Response Monument - A tribute to the first soldiers deployed to the Middle East, which inspired the film “12 Strong.”

Brilliant eye-opening tour! - We had taken the wrong subway line to the meeting point so a little late to get to the group. Jon not only waited for us but guided us on how to reach them.
Well researched narrative with a wealth of information on architecture and local historical anecdotes without becoming a history lesson.

Follow Jon for 9/11 memorial - Jon is deep in the knowledge of this event from every angle. I toured myself in 9/11 museum before but I found Jon’s stories and facts are much better that I have no need to get into the museum (saved me USD 120)

A Touching Tribute to NY & 9/11 - The detailed storytelling from City Shuffles’ / Jon’s 9/11 tour brings the dreadful yet heroic day to life. Jon’s passionate knowledge allows you to feel a stronger connection to everyone impacted by the day / survivors, the fallen, the unsung heroes and the city of New York. This personal, independent tour is heartfelt, touching and Informative and provides content I hadn’t experienced via the museum or other sources. Jon does an excellent job in keeping the memory eternal for many of the fallen.

almost like a live documentary around the relevant sites: excellent! - John did a terrific job in making his tour aroudn 9/11 turning into a documentary in which he took us into all the important and relevant stories and info on this important and sad moment in history

Best tour & tour guide in NYC! - My friend and I had a tour with Jon, he was AMAZING! He was so knowledgeable, outgoing and animated, even considerate - thinking to stop for a snack break and bathrooms!
Genuinely, would choose to tour with Jon or anyone from CityShuffles before checking out the bigger corps that put on tours. He was so knowledgeable and it wasn’t just a routine tour, he allows you to ask questions and shape the tour if that’s what you’re into.
If you’re visiting New York City I would add this tour or any other tour Jon and his team offer because it made our trip that much more interesting and enjoyable. So cool to be immersed in some of the history of the city!!

Best most informative 9/11 tour guide - Jon was an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable, kind and easy going. He answered all our questions individually. Excellent tour! - Excellent tour given by John Gallagher. It was very informative with a personal touch, I thoroughly recommend! He took us to several 9/11 sights and added in some extra stops, including beautiful churches and Brookfield place.
