Private tour by car with a very friendly local. - Our guide, Thomas, drove us to the Golden Waterfall, old Jiufen town, old Shifen town, and Shifen Waterfall. And a few scenic spots along the way. He was very friendly and interpreted for us as needed. He gave us a lot of historical context of Taiwan and Jiufen and Shifen.

Great tour, great tour guide 🙌 - The perfect tour before embarkation. We booked this tour prior to our Japan cruise. We enjoyed our time with Jim very much. He was very knowledgeable, very helpful and very friendly. Thanks for this nice experience in Shifen and Jiufen.

Very good day - Our group of 6 adults had a very good tour with Nicholas as our guide. The lantern experience was very good as was the visit to Pingxi. This town on the side of the mountain is well worth the trip

😍 - “Choo-choo” the train was coming! We bought a sky lantern and wrote some wish on it. I wrote, “Hope our family healthy and happy!” After lighting a fire, we let the sky lantern flew into the sky, hoping for all of our wishes would come true. Thanks, Taiwan, a lovely country.

Pingxi&Jiufen - We enjoyed our last day for Taipei day tour. Although it was convenient to take public transportation but it was more comfortable to stay in a private car in this hot and humid summer. We went to many tourist attractions around Taipei. Jenny gave us lots of useful advice during the trip, we had a lot of fun and bought many souvenirs and even pineapple pastries for our family and friends in Vietnam.

Jiufen&Pingxi - Jenny, our tour guide picked us up from the hotel in the morning and we started our trip way to Ruifeng. She told us that the best thing to the North area of Taiwan was “you could see the sea from any spot in this area”. If you adore sea, you would fell in love with the view and relax in this atmosphere very much with the blue sky.

Jiufen and jinguashi - Jiufen and Jinguashi used to be the most important golden mine of Taiwan. The sea beside Jiufen and Jinguashi was cool! You can’t believe that the sea had two colors in the same area, blue seawater, and gold seawater mix together. Our guide told us this sea named Yin-Yang sea, Yin-yang means “dark and bright” in Chinese. And why the sea had two different colors? Our guide said that represent there was large mine inside Jiufen and Jinguashi.

Good tour! - The excursion was great. We loved all of the places we went and would highly recommend. Our guide was kind and caring to all of us, however, there was very little history or narration along the way. We asked repeatedly that the radio be turned down or off and it wasn’t to be. Sometimes it was shut off for 5-10 minutes but then it was turned on again making it impossible to hear our friends or the guide. The places we went were terrific.

Guide was a no-show - The tour guide no. Showed us. We ended up taking a taxi tour for half the price, at least they had the decency to properly refund my money.
