- Turtle Mound National Historic Site - We begin our trip by heading south to observe and learn about Turtle Mound Historic site, in the uninhabited Canaveral National Seashore. Our journey continues through the Park, while we observe the wildlife that inhabits the estuary, as well as learn about area history and conservation. Dolphins, manatees (in season), a variety of shorebirds, fish, and turtles are regularly sighted.

Our excursion offers a special mix of wildlife interaction, pristine natural zones, and an enjoyable, amiable captain and team. It is suitable for all ages and our cozy pontoon is wheelchair-friendly. We prompt our travelers to explore the vessel and take pleasure in the views once we set sail. Our focus is on the unpredictability of the river’s fauna, hence, each trip offers a unique experience.

Great day on the water! - Such a beautiful day on the water. The crew was amazing and IROC was an added bonus! This was our 2nd trip and I highly recommend Turtle Mound River Tours and IROC oyster company!

Fun and Educational - Great way to spend a couple hours on the water learning about the native people and wildlife. Captain Dan was loaded with information and made the trip fun. Saw water birds, dolphins, and manatees.

Magical and tremendous fun. - Amazing. Magical. Captain Danny and his sidekick Kevin are hysterically entertaining. We saw manatee, a pelican harassing a dolphin and a stunning view. Captain Danny even got a dolphin to play in our wake.

Don’t second guess it! GO!!! - Wow! What an experience! We had a wonderful time on our tour! The views, we saw so many dolphins, and manatees! Got to learn a lot about Manatee and the history of the Indian River. Would definitely recommend and go again.

Must Do - What a wonderful way to see “real” Florida. So nice to see unspoiled waterways full of dolphins, birds, and manatees! Captain Danny and Kevin were great…funny but very informative. We will do it again when we bring other family with us next time!
