The story of the "LaLaurie" mansion needs to be historically accurate. That structure standing today is not the mansion of Madame LaLaurie which is what tourists are made to believe. The story should also include that it was rebuilt from basically the ground up after the fire and became the Caffin mansion. Then had a variety of uses. It is the property where atrocities occurred and should never be forgotten. But tour members are standing there thinking that is the actual mansion when in fact it is the land/property. Tell the story ans never let what happened on the property be forgotten. But dont lead people to believe thats the actual original house they are looking at.

Did not go into much detail on most of the stops about why each place was “Haunted”. Defeats the point of a tour being specifically about that. A lot of “bad things happened here”. My husband who is from another country and does not know much New Orleans history or about Ghosts/Vampires was left very confused. An OK tour to get familiar with the French Quarter. Would barely call it a Ghost tour. More info was shared about Vampires.

The tour guide was not informed or entertaining. We started too far away from where we needed to be. A lot of wasted time walking. I left early highly unsatisfied.
