Erin was the Perfect Guide for this Tour. Her knowledge, enthusiasm and quirky sense of humor made this more than just a walk to view lovely mansions. I also liked the fact that we actually got to go inside one of the Homes. Definitely recommend

Guide was unengaging and tedious.

The tour guides were friendly, but the tour itself felt disorganized and underwhelming. There was a fair amount of standing around, and it got off to a rough start when we arrived at the Opera House and learned we wouldn’t be able to go inside. Two large groups were split into smaller ones, and it seemed like the guides were trying to coordinate logistics on the fly.
To be fair, the issues didn’t seem entirely within the guides’ control, but the experience never really recovered. The route was very limited—essentially one or two blocks around the neighborhood—and the cemetery portion consisted of looking in from outside the gates rather than entering.
We ended up leaving the tour early because it just wasn’t very engaging. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this tour and wouldn’t go back again.
