Great time with Carlos. - Had a great 2 hours tour with Carlos. He talked about history, music, architecture and cultures while showing us the French Quarter. My husband and myself found the tour great, for our daughter it was a bit long (she's 10) but I guess it's more for adults than children anyway. Highly recommend if you want to learn things about NOLA. It really changes perspective instead just strolling down the streets on your own.

Absorbing History and walking back in time - This is a walking tour with stops but keep in mind you are on your feet for 2 hours. Babs the tour guide was knowledgeable and had maps in hand to describe geographical history. My daughter and I did the 1:30 tour. You might want to go early to tour the house/museum before the walk. Babs made the tour interactive with questions that we could answer. Well worth doing this tour!

Cindy’s Walking Tour + 1850 tour - 3rd generation New Orleans tour guide Cindy did a fantastic walking tour around the French Quarter. Very respectfully of the buildings, artists, & other tour operators, Cindy made sure to curate our experiences without interfering with the chaos. I highly recommend booking your walking tours through this non-profit since it’s guided by volunteers that are passionate about preserving New Orleans’ heritage and restoring its landmarks. The walking tour also includes admission to the 1850 museum. Please consider purchasing your tourist memorabilia from the museum store to help continue support for this great historical landmark.
