Must go on this experience! - Our trip along the Mississippi River aboard the Creole Queen was fantastic! The highlight of the experience was our narrator, Charles, who was absolutely phenomenal. On the way to the battlefield, he captivated us with fascinating historical insights about the events leading up to the War of 1812 and its lasting impact on the nation. The journey back was just as engaging, as Charles delivered a powerful and detailed account of the time leading up to and following Hurricane Katrina. His storytelling was both informative and deeply moving, making the cruise an unforgettable experience. If you're planning a tour with the Creole Queen, you’ll definitely want Charles as your guide!

Great time in New Orleans and the Mighty Mississippi - Great time for the whole Family…. Nice weather and the breeze was fantastic!! Beautiful scenery and Charles was very fun and witty and very informative!! Would highly recommend!! Our 22 and 18 year old enjoyed just as much as we did! The battlefield was a great addition to the day cruise especially since it was the Battle of New Orleans and his unit in the army were the “CottonBalers”

Narration by Dr. Tarantino is a 10/10 - This was a fun way to spend an afternoon and get outside of the city for a few hours without renting a car. Chalamette Battlefield is interesting, but the real star of this experience is Dr. Tarantino's narration on the way downriver. She is extremely knowledgable and EXTREMELY entertaining. She's also great to chat with for recommendations on where to find the best spots in town.

Super-chill river experience - If you’re doing the Big Easy thing, you’re required to spend a little time on the Big Muddy. This was a wonderfully informative float informed capably by Dr. Lauren. You get a nifty break at a War of 1812 battlefield and enjoy some jazz on the way back to the Riverwalk docks. Drinks were pretty cheap and ice cold — a perfect companion for fascinating historical facts. Great experience!

You just have to do this! - Ok! So luckily the boat was quite empty, not too many passengers hers and I went with the bottomless brunch, which I needed based off the previous night in Bourbon Street! Everyone was friendly and accommodating, jazz band was great, although the weather was not! However I would have regretted not doing this, you MUST do this if visiting New Orleans from Europe! I had an extremely pleasant time and the cruise was just the right length! The food is buffet style, which was ok food, wholesome and traditional for brunch! A great few hours spent and if the weather was better this would have been a top day!
