Immerse yourself in the tales on a pedestrian excursion amidst the sophisticated 19th Century garden district of New Orleans. You will have the chance to peek through the gates of Lafayette Cemetery #1, which is presently not open to visitors. This area, along with its graveyard, narrates New Orleans’ history from the Louisiana Purchase to the Civil War. Magnificent pre-war residences, abundant gardens, memorable narratives, and stunning picture-perfect spots are all part of the journey! We ensure our group does not exceed 12 attendees for a captivating and personal encounter.
- Due to uneven surfaces, comfortable walking shoes and sturdy wheelchairs are advised

Garden District Magic - Touring the Garden District with our tour guide Libby was a treat! Libby is extremely knowledgeable of the history, architecture, shared numerous funny tales and welcomed questions from our very small group. The tour was intimate + provided wonderful insight which made our trip to NOLA more complete! Highly recommend this tour + guide.

Walk in the Garden with Jackie - Jackie's tour was fascinating and fun. Terrific mix of history and memorable stories about the district and individual homes' celebrated inhabitants. Her enthusiasm is infectious. Highly recommend her!

A different side of New Orleans - James, our tour guide, was both funny and informative in showing us the Garden District. He gave us both a historical and architectural insight into the area, which is a lot different than the French Quarter. Worth a couple hours to see a different side of New Orleans.

Worthwhile & enjoyable way to see the garden district (again) - Glad I had a well-founded feeling that this was a good tour, as there were probably 15 offered by Booking.com. Our guide, James. was pleasant, interesting, and thorough. Our group was about 15 people (fortunately split into two groups this size on arrival). It’s a beautiful area, but having star’s homes pointed out and James’ interesting vignettes made for enjoyable couple of hours our last morning in New Orleans
