Informative look into the history and culture of Voodoo and New Orleans - I thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Orion, our guide. I especially appreciated that this tour was specifically focused on history and culture, rather than on trying to tell spooky stories. I know that's what a lot of people want, and more power to you if that's your thing, but I appreciated learning more about the Voodoo culture and how it shaped New Orleans. There were certainly elements of the tour that were on the grim side, but that's because history is sometimes grim. Orion didn't shy away from these elements, but he also didn't try to sensationalize them, which was exactly what I wanted. Highly recommended if you want to learn more about what's really behind the pop culture version of Voodoo and Marie Laveau.

Culturally inclusive - Very informative! This was a historical, factual tour that gives a completely different image of voodoo than the way Hollywood portrays it. Scott was very knowledgeable and respectful of the local culture and religions.
