Loved it - Such a great experience and amazing tour guide. Our guide was very knowledgeable and welcoming and open to answer all questions we had. Perfect intermission and bathroom break so as to make sure we were comfortable for our strole through the city. Absolutely amazing experience ✨

Definitely a must do while staying in the French Quarter - Jamie was awesome!! Very informative and knowledgeable! Definitely recommend her as your guide! She took her time to explain the history at every stop. Made sure we had a drink and potty break!

Fun Times in the Haunted City! - We had so much fun on this tour! I live in town and took my visiting family on this tour. Our guide was Jamie who was super knowledgeable and made the tour exciting and memorable. Jamie was so lovely to tour with. Can't recommend this tour more to locals and visitors alike.

Voodoo Tour - I learned a great deal about the realities of Voodoo and how it is a serious spiritual practice completely devoid of what the public has been led to believe by Hollywood. There were also exciting scary stories to keep us interested. The guide was an older man dressed in black who was very knowledegable and a pleasure to spend time with.

If You Want Historically Accurate, This Is the Tour You're Looking For.... - If you've ended up here reading reviews because you're looking for a good tour guide through part of the French Quarter and want accurately delivered accounts of the history that developed there, you can stop looking right now. Book David Lord's tour and be prepared for a riveting dive into the spiritual history of early-to-present New Orleans and some of the local haunted lore of the French Quarter. David's historical knowledge is spot on... he's clearly done his homework and provides accurate details to his tour guests. My only complaint is that 2 hours is just not enough time to satiate my own curiosity. David is a master of improv as well as being a natural storyteller. His improv ability is an added bonus since there's likely going to be something crazy going on at any given time in the Quarter. The ability to incorporate that into the experience is definitely a desired quality in a great guide. All in all, it was a solid experience... nicely paced, with a short break in the middle to visit one of the local pubs for a quick refreshment. The tour ends up back at Hex where you'll get a private viewing of the courtyard and sanctuary behind the shop. The only practical addition I can think of is to wear comfortable walking shoes so you don't get distracted from the stories and the sites!!

Fun walking tour - Had a great time with my friends on this walking tour starting at Hex. it was very informative, had awesome ghost stories and paranormal activity descriptions. Got to see some historic buildings and learn more about New Orleans voodoo. David was a natural storyteller, very informative, and the excursion had good pacing with a break halfway through at a local pub. Highly recommend!

Walk a spell for a real deal voodoo lesson !! - My friend and i loved the tour so much we really enjoy the experience that David brought that night . I felt it was a great way to get to know the real New Orleans and a fun way to learn some history as well . I felt it was well worth it !
