You’ll never guess what happens next! Tour with Dayne - Our Tour guide Dayne was amazing. He had many insightful tidbits of information which he delivered in a very entertaining way. The tour was full of intrigue and in parts very interactive along with stories that not only kept us on the edge of our seats but kept us guessing all the way through to the end. Dayne (I hope I’m spelling his name correctly) took us through not only the rich history of this beautiful city along with the seedy underbelly of it’s true crime history. One of the best tours I’ve been on and it was mainly because our guide was awesome. Highly recommend him if anyone reads my review and is interested, you won’t be disappointed.

I recommend the True Crimes Tour: sinister criminal intentions - Dane was enthusiastic and really excited by the true murder crime stories he told during the tour. He even had personal connections with a couple of the stories. He kept us entertained. We really enjoyed the tour.

Recommend. Anderson is terrific. - Anderson was a terrific tour guide. A great balance of fun and seriousness, which is important given the tour’s subject matter (crime) and intention (entertainment). I learned a lot about specific events but also general New Orleans history, culture, and building construction.

Awesome - Mikko was very entertaining with the stories, and shared a lot of information. It was an easy walk…. The meeting time is 15 minutes before the actual tour start… quite a few real crime stories where he even provided some of his own opinions to enhance the facts. Highly recommend.

Anderson is the man! - Anderson was our guide and man he was a character! He knew all the stories, answered all of our questions and you could tell he loved this city and its history. If you want to hear about some real and gruesome murders, some that even happened not that long ago, I would recommend this tour!

Wonderful tour! - Great tour, the guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Good way to experience the beautiful architecture of the French Quarters. Reaching my Fitbit step goal was a bonus!!

Awesome! - Dane was super informative. We had a great time learning about the crimes in New Orleans. Could’ve easily spent a couple more hours learning more.

Excellent Vibes and Relaxed Experience - Our tour guide Mikko was epic! The tour takes you all around the French Quarter and recounts some groovy non-fiction morbidity. It was just me and my wife so it was super intimate. It was like we were cruising around with our cool uncle from New Orleans talking about true crime. We loved every minute!

Love Elaine ! - Elaine was fabulous! We loved the tour.. She was informative and had a great personality! Would definitely recommend going with her if you go to NOLA.

Could have been a good experience, but wasn't - 3/20/2024 Mikko was our tour guide. First off, we did learn a few things. However, he was not personable at all. Before we even went on the tour and met at the meeting point the woman running the store and Mikko were talking about how people need informed that tour guides should get tipped. That should have been a personal conversation between them instead of in front of the guests getting ready to attend your tour. I have taken MANY tours and normally along the way they give history etc to pass the time especially on a walking tour. Nothing. We walked forever before he finally had us turn around so he could tell a story. He made LOTS of sexual comments that were not a part of the tour that my friends and I felt we're very inappropriate, and distasteful. Talking about having kinky sex with his guests, and asking guests to go back to his room etc. unbelievable. The tour itself was supposed to be 2 hours. It was done and complete in an hour. We paid $40 for the tour, so that for sure was a disappointment. He skipped stories he could have told etc. We felt he was rushing our tour to get it over with it. Then made a comment at the end "don't forget to tip" which we expected after the conversation we heard before we got started. We got more information from our "Dead of Night" tour later in the evening than this one. I'm sure if we would of had a better tour guide our experience would have been better. So I'm not complaining about the tour as a whole, but the guide makes the experience and he didn't do a good job. I would recommend the tour, just not Mikko as a guide. Disappointing.
