Fascinating history of the Garden District and New Orleans in general - I can't recommend Randy Bibb highly enough. He is painstaking in his accuracy (he is a volunteer for the New Orleans City Archives), who is engaging, a great story teller, and has a great sense of humor. We took a two hour tour around the Garden district and learned all kinds of new things I never knew about New Orleans before. If you want to be educated by a pro, in the most pleasant way possible, take this tour.

Ask for details - This is a 2 hour leisurely walking tour about the homes and restaurants in the Garden District. The guide was knowledgeable. If you are looking for a faster-paced tour, this may not be the right one for you. The tour was okay but we thought there were too many people, was too slow, and it wasn’t the history we wanted to learn. If you wanna go on a tour of the garden district, they architecture is absolutely beautiful, but I would ask what type of history is included, And how long the tour is before booking.

Your guide matters - The tour/houses was nice but SUPER disappointed that it does NOT include tour of cemetery. Wasnt told until morning of that the cemetery was closed to the public since 2017! Was sent a group chat and responded then a nasty Karen on the tour brought up convo said I demanded my money back. This isnt even what happened.... I was offered my money back twice, then said Ok Ill take a refund. I received the confirmation of cancelation but never got refund. We called company and said we'd go.... since we didnt get refund. The tour guide, while super nice, had no idea about the tour. She was reading from her ipad the entire time and couldn't really answer questions. Then told us it was her first tour that wasn't the haunted tour. Kind of annoyed at the entire experience
