  • St. Louis Cemetery No. 3 - Your guided walking tour of New Orleans’ unique above-ground tombs is about 20 minutes.
  • Mississippi River - Next up is a swamp tour - ride along Mississippi River to the Barataria Swamps.
  • Louisiana Tour Company - See the Cajuns of the Bayou living and surviving in harmony with the swamps. Here, the waterways are their highways. From the relaxing comfort of our Covered Swamp Tour Boats, we will drift slowly past a 2000 year old Indian Burial Mound, a Cajun cemetery, and a Fishing village! You may see the wildlife that made the Barataria Swamps the Crown Jewel of the Louisiana Purchase.

If you choose the airboat option - you will experience the best of both: a swamp tour and an airboat ride. You will travel at high speeds on the airboat then slow down and stop for pictures. Along the way, you will get a personal tour by your local Captain. Our airboats have stadium style seating, so that the person in front of you does not obstruct your view. Every airboat seat is great for experiencing the tour and viewing the wildlife. Gators will get close……real close!!!

Great day in N.O. - We had a fantastic day with our tour of N.O. and a gator swamp tour on a small air boat. Our driver David from Alert Transportation picked us up on time from the hotel and was friendly and courteous. He gave us a fantastic tour of the city. Afterwards, we were transported to the docking location for our swamp tour. Our guide Jason was fantastic and despite the really cold weather managed to get up close to some gators and other wildlife. We really had a great time and would return.

Absolutely Fantastic Day - New Orleans 3 hour city tour with Darren Bouvet (?) was probably best I have ever been on. (How could a city tour be 3 hours?) Born & raised in New Orleans, he knew the history of every section of the city we travelled through. Pointed out long-term effects of Katrina, high-low spots of districts, architecture. Easy to hear and understand him. I am well-seasoned! The snack and bathroom breaks were perfectly timed. He even has his own soundtrack playlist that connects to each area by song, in a city rich with music. If an artist was mentioned there was a familiar tune to go with the name. We switched busses mid-day to head for a swamp tour and all went seamlessly. Swamp tour was also great. Our boat driver, Jason, was passionate and knowledgeable about the echo systems and wildlife. We definitely saw lots of alligators, and nature is always hit or miss. Glad we decided against the air boat, because it was fairly chilly travelling on the water. Excellent tour for anyone with a bit of mobility issues.

A must do when visiting Nola ***** - Both aspects of this trip were excellent. From smooth pick up & drop off to very informative guides. The city tour was great, it was informative & fun, our driver was David Boué & He was brilliant. Having grown up in New Orleans he gave us first hand experience & knowledge & kept us entertained with music clips & great facts. The second part was the airboat ride… we chose the large fast one & was in the capable hands of Captain Ernie.. He was very knowledgeable & gave us lots of interesting facts & stories about the gators in the swamps. He was very passionate when talking about them & helping to preserve & secure their future by stamping out poachers & doing your homework when visiting these areas. We got to see lots of gators close up & even saw them snacking on marshmallows which was really cool. Captain Ernie made sure we had lots of photo opportunities. Highly recommended tour. Would advise on taking snacks & drinks as it is a long day.
