Accompany us on an exploration of three of New Orleans’ esteemed graveyards. On this excursion, a seasoned raconteur will guide you through the labyrinth of above-ground sepulchers in St. Patrick Cemetery #2, and the Katrina Memorial at Charity Hospital Cemetery.
Ranging from burial rites and customs, to the historical significance of the Masons and Catholics in New Orleans, to the multitude of souls interred behind the Katrina Memorial, this tour is a blend of unease and thrill, instilling a deep respect for the rich history of our city.
This is a guided 1.5-hour walking expedition. You are welcome to bring your own beverages!

Great - The guide was wonderful. He provided in site to the history of the area and stones. We were then free to roam anywhere on our own at our pace. The starting location was a little difficult to find. Great Job

Fun, knowledgeable - The tour was awesome! I learned so much! The most memorable part of the tour was the history behind the burial process and how so many individuals can fit in such a tiny space!

Taylor Rocks - Taylor was amazing and very knowledgeable. He made the walking fun and never stopped telling stories. He even gave some great food recommendations! It was really neat to have an expert walk us around the cemeteries and see how much has changed and how much is still the same. 10/10 recommend!

Lots of interesting history - Tour was informative and very interesting. William was very knowledgeable and fun. He knew his stuff!! He was excited to share his knowledge and even ideas to the history of New Orleans cemeteries and history.
He was very accommodating and didn’t rush. We had time to ask questions and explore (a little).

Great tour with Taylor - Very informative tour!! Taylor was very knowledgeable and managed to keep the attention of our three boys. One of the best tours we took in New Orleans. Highly recommend. Taylor also recommended restaurants and beignet cafés, which we really appreciated. We would definitely take another tour with Taylor again in the future!!

Further from the French quarter - Our tour guide was really nice but the cemetery was further from the French quarter than some of the others. A bus tour may have been better for our group.
