Recommend this adventure! - We had been on an airboat tour in the Everglades, but this was very different. It was very convenient that the bus picked us up at our hotel, it is about a 30 minute bus ride. Then there's time to use the restroom and a little gift shop. I highly recommend the small group tour, maximum of eight people on the Air boat. we were lucky enough to sit in the front. Fantastic tour guide named Bobby, lives in the area, knows it like the back of his hand. Yes, you will get the typical feeding the marshmallows to the alligator, but our guide was so knowledgeable on the area and people asked a lot of questions and it was very educational to learn about the ecosystem and the Bayous, history, oil business , and the animals. He even got one of the alligators to come up on the front of the boat! Hold onto your hat and anything else that might fly away when you get going at full speed, tons of fun. The whole area was so beautiful with the Spanish moss on the trees, the water plants blooming, the beauty of the Bayou. Then return bus trip to your hotel so great for those that don't rent a car. We had a blast, and we're in our 60s, but the group of people we were with and the tour guide was so fun.

Great experience - We had a great time. Wonderful driver took us to the location and we had a great boat captain as well. On site prices for snacks and other items was great as well. Would highly recommend.

Totally Worth It - Getting picked up at my hotel made it easy to get there. Ian was an extremely knowledgeable guide; explained the biology of the swamp, the gators & the cypress trees. Took us to various locations & kept us out for entire time despite the rain. It poured on & off the whole time but it didn't stop the fun. Bring a change of clothes including shoes just in case. They do sell ponchos at gift shop but even those who had them got soaked. Met the 2nd generation owner whose Dad started business & now is run by his 2 sons. Friendly, well organized. I would 100% do it again, rain & all.

One word. Fanastic - Just go and do it. Bus ride to site seeing alligators. Feeding gators and guide fantastic. If this was an excursion on a cruise ship the charge would be $399-$499. Just do it.

A whole different world - Really great tour, although the most expensive trip we did. The airboat was fabtastic with just 8 people on our boat. The Tour guide was very knowledgeable and it was clear how much he cared for his swamps. He talked about conservation and also how much stick the guides get when they dont go quite to plan. Very funny! Over all a great time with lots of aligators ranging from about a metre to over two, lots of birds and amazing trees. We also did some fast riding across the bayou, fast fun!!!

Airboat and alligator adventure! - So glad we did this! The airboat ride was really fun. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable of the area and animals. You could tell he cared about the raccoons and alligators. He got one of the alligators to come onto our boat. He was really good with them and we felt safe. He had a great sense of humor. We saw a bald eagle and a nest. Riding trough the small waterways underneath the trees with moss was really beautiful. The motor was loud but they provided headsets for ear protection ( some people also used their earbuds for double protection) We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel.
