This particular airport is powered by a 454 Chevy Engine that’s capable of accelerating to speeds as high as 35 miles per hour. The boat is propelled by a large fan behind the boat which can deliver wind speeds of over 200 miles per hour. This tour is fast and loud!
Your tour guide will take you around the swamp and make frequent stops for you to have encounters with the wildlife. Chances are you’ll probably have some reptilian visitors. The alligators have no problems making their way to the side of the boat and showing off for the visitors. After the tour of the swamp is complete you will be returned to the original departure location to make your way back to New Orleans.

- Please note you are not guaranteed to see a gator. They hibernate in winter months but are easily spotted in spring, summer, and fall.
- Service animals are permitted but not recommended due to the volume of noise on the boat and threats of surrounding wildlife.
- Emotional support animals are not permitted.
- Airboats are not handicapped accessible. There are no lifts or ramps available for use. Guests must be able to get on or off of the boat themselves or with the help of someone in their party.

An outstanding & unique experience - My wife & I went on this airboat ride through the swamps south of New Orleans. We saw a lot of alligators, some Blue Herons, Egrets, a Bald Eagle, and more. Bebop, our tour guide, was informative and engaging. The experience was spectacular! And a lot of fun.

Small Group Airboat Tour - We had a great day with our guide, Dewey, who was knowledgeable, friendly and a skilled waterman. The day was a bit chilly, but we saw several alligator, birds, including bald eagles and a bard owl, as well as the illusive “swamp cow😁”. We highly recommend the small group airboat tour with Dewey. Thanks for a great day.

Love the gaters - Capt Ernie is personable & very knowledgeable about the aligaters & the ecosystem of the bayou. We learned a lot & the scenery was beautiful.

Captain Beebop Made Our Off-Season Tour Memorable - Even though we didn’t get to see many alligators in November—most of them retreat to the dens they build for the winter, and only younger alligators (around four years old) are still out—Captain Beebop made our trip incredibly interesting. We learned so much about the area, the swamps, and the challenges of balancing nature with human decisions driven by economic growth.
Our bus driver was also a fantastic guide, pointing out interesting sights along the way and sharing little stories from her daily life, which made the experience even more fun.

Best part of New Orleans! - Only complaint was that it was to short, wish I could of spent the whole day out there. Our guide was perfect, knew what the people wanted and gave it to them!

A Tour You Won’t Want to Miss - This was our favorite excursion during our visit to NOLA. We saw lots of alligators and wildlife and our captain, Capt Beebop, was extremely knowledgeable about everything to do with the swamp. So very interesting and fun. I highly recommend this tour.

Highlight of our trip! We... - Highlight of our trip! We saw many alligators and even found a nest of baby alligators. We each were able to pet the baby alligator. Unforgettable experience. The bayou was breathtaking and the air boat ride was thrilling!

Such a FUN experience! - This was the BEST fun!! Captain Bebop was so knowledgeable and made the trip even better! This would have been a blast even if we had not seen any alligators! We can’t wait to come back!

Would book again! - I cannot recall the name of our tour guide, but I wish I could because he was great! Very knowledgeable about the wildlife, plants, trees, EVERY THING. You can tell he's been doing this for a while and takes pride in everything he knows by the passion he has for this field. We got to see alligators up close and personal, owls, bald eagles, turtles, all the things. It was a great experience.

He wasted a good 20 minutes of our time floating on the lake lecturing us
A lot of the rest of the time he spent talking about himself
