- Frenchmen Street - Immerse yourself in a perilous evening in Storyville, the notorious red light district of New Orleans, back in 1911.\n\nA renowned brothel owner meets a mysterious end… and the list of suspects includes all her competitors. Participants are invited to assume the identities of actual dubious figures from the annals of New Orleans: illustrious madams, crooked politicians, and other memorable personas from the city’s storied past.\n\nJoin forces to unravel a mystery, or simply relax and enjoy some good-natured fun with others. Regardless of your approach, you’re guaranteed to leave with an unforgettable slice of New Orleans lore!\n\nPlease note, there will be no food served at this gathering. Beverages can be bought at a dedicated bar. This venue restricts entry to individuals who are 21 years of age and older.\n\nThe performance takes place in the Penthouse on the upper level of The Maison, located at 508 Frenchmen St. Arrival time is 6pm, but if you happen to arrive ahead of schedule, you’re welcome to savor some tunes at the bar on the ground floor!

Indulge yourself in a side-splitting evening in Storyville, the notorious red-light sector of New Orleans in 1911. Some guests are chosen to portray famous courtesans and other notorious figures from actual New Orleans history during a nocturnal visit to a house of ill repute. A wealthy and renowned madam has been perplexingly killed, with every one of her competitors having a potential reason for the crime.
Probe the suspects, decipher riddles, or just sit back and take pleasure in the spectacle!
Our enactments are classic New Orleans: boisterous laughter, enjoyable historical lessons, and performed at a trendy historic location, The Maison. Regardless if you’ve experienced a regular murder mystery or not, you’re guaranteed a fantastic time, and you’ll gain a piece of New Orleans history you’ll always remember!

You gotta do this!!! - It was AMAZING!!!!!! The hosts were really cool!!!!! I was the Nutcracker during this event!!!! I enjoyed the atmosphere and met some new people!!!! The overall experience was great!!! You have to try this!!!! Mostly everyone in the room was cooperative in engaging with the production!!!!

Laughs and libations! - Very enjoyable evening. Met some great people and had a fun time. Built around solving a crime, based around actual historical events in New Orleans’ old red light district. Laughs and libations in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. So very enjoyable.

Confusing with the actors - The actors are the participants, so if people aren't great actors you don't get all the information you need to solve the mystery. It was okay, for the price I paid.

Not for me - Up two flights of stairs, I felt this was a fire trap. The “humor” started with mocking God. The plot was too complicated so it seemed like work. Other customers enjoyed the game. I did not.
