Experience New Orleans’ past through its unique architecture during a 2-hour Marigny Tour. Explore this distinct neighborhood, appreciated for its cultural and architectural significance, and escape the trodden tourist paths. Marigny was once home to a rich tapestry of peoples - Creoles, refugees from Haiti, Free People of Color and various migrant groups all left their mark here. These vibrant histories are narrated through their residences, from the grand Mansions along Esplanade Ridge to the smaller Creole Cottages that punctuate the area. With a limit of 14 individuals per tour, you are ensured a personal and engaging experience.

Book this tour! - Fantastic tour by Guy, who is very knowledgeable, has a great personality and also lives in the Marigny area so has first hand experience. Lots of stories and anecdotes which made the whole experience very engaging. My children and I learned so much during the 2 hours tour. We highly recommend NOLA tours.

Great experience - This was an excellent tour and we learned many interesting details of the area's history as well as the architecture. Our guide was pleasant and knowledgable. We don't often do this kind of tour and it was a worthwhile and rewarding use of our limited time in New Orleans.

Go! The best NOLA tour we’ve been on - This was a wonderful tour that mixed the unique architecture of New Orleans with its even more unique history. Guy was our guide and we cannot express how much we enjoyed his tour. Guy’s knowledge was encyclopedic as he made us think and laugh.

Excellent tour of Marigny - My daughter just moved to Marigny and we wanted to learn more about this special area of NOLA. Guy was our tour guide. He had a great blend of knowledge of history, architecture, and a deep passion for the neighborhood. He gave a frank discussion of the past and current culture in Marigny and told stories not usually mentioned. We love history and he was pleasant and patient with our many questions. Fabulous tour and highly recommended!

Not to be Missed - Thank you once again Guy for a wonderful architectural walking experience!!! The beautiful streets of brightly colored shot-gun homes was not to be missed!!
I very much appreciated knowing that the Marigny neighborhood with its mix of retail and residential was likely the first fully diversified and walkable neighborhoods in terms of the people who made it their homes and the businesses established there.
Yet another not-to-be-missed tour!

Great tour and Guy (our guide) was the best! - Guy, our tour guide, was amazing. We did the architecture tour of the Marigny neighborhood with him and loved it. He was extremely knowledgeable and a great storyteller. Would highly recommend this tour and Guy!
