Great tour! - I loved this tour!!! I have been to New Orleans no less than a dozen times and this is my first time on this tour. I took my 17 year old daughter and we both throughly enjoyed it. Donald was our tour guide, a NOLA local, and he was fantastic. He’s is a great orator and he told us fascinating history of the food culture here. He also gave us recommendations of restaurants based on items we wanted to try/eat. I already went to one of the places he told us about and he was 100% right- so delicious!!
The samples of the food at the 3 restaurants and sweet shop were very good and actually pretty filling. I would highly, highly recommend this tour! We had a wonderful time!

Shrimp Gumbo - This is a walking food tour. Four places to stop at. Half the time was spent outside and the other half was spent inside. Our tour guide Raff was AMAZING 🤩

Highly Recommend - Perfect job for Donald our tour guide. He was so knowledgeable in the history of NOLA food and gave us so many tips. It was very well worth the cost. I would highly recommend. Food was sample size which is what we expected. Word of the wise - If you have food allergies don’t go on a food tour. We had a few people with them and they had to make special accommodations which was annoying. I don’t understand if you’re a picky eater or can’t have this or that why you would go on a food tour. Just a thought.

Raffle Is Great - My husband and I did the walking food tour and had so much fun. We tried foods that we would not normally order and were surprised we really enjoyed everything! Raffle the tour guide had entertaining stories, gave history of the foods/cooking styles, and great recommendations on places to try that were not on the tour. We are planning on doing another tour with Raffle on our next trip to New Orleans.

Food, history, and a happy tummy - Donald was a great guide. The food samples were delicious examples of Cajun and Creole cooking with fun history. I love red beans and rice so think we should adopt a Nola tradition after hearing all about wash day dinner. Tasty and engaging tour.
