Great time! Arrive early. - The boat ride is so relaxing. Get there early if you want a shaded seat. Probably an hour early to line up would be ideal. The MC, Charles is fantastic and on the way back tells the whole story of hurricane Katrina. I could have done without the hour stop in the middle for people explore the battlefield. Such a fun experience.

Best riverboat cruise - I arrived early in NOLA and decided to do the Creole Queen Mississippi Riverboat cruise that stops at the Battlefield. It was absolutely awesome. The ship, the food, the narrator and the tour were stellar in every way. I’ll definitely do this tour and bring others next time.

History vis waterfront - The shared history and stories was great! Highly recommend the experience. Too much to truly share. The boat was comfortable, not really for wheel chairs of those who have walking issues. Stairs are pretty steep.

Nice trip on a”real” paddle wheeler. - It was a great boat ride but the civil war park destination was a disappointment. The guide on the boat described the importance and drama of the battle, which was very interesting. The park had a monument that told the same story. We didn’t go to the visitors center because it was too far for us. We bought the gangway photo which we rarely do. That is a sure indicator that we enjoyed the trip. I wish the captain had blown the horn more.

It was good! - The lady who dispense the tickets was rude outside. The staff members from the boat were nice and attentive. The food was great especially the rice pudding. The announcer was great very engaging and funny.
