Creole Cooking Class - My daughter and I had a wonderful evening cooking with Chef Raymond. We made corn and crab bisque, shrimp Creole, pecan pralines, and bananas Foster. We enjoyed hearing his stories of cooking his favorite foods and the creative cuisine he was making. He threw in a little New Orleans history, too. Be sure to pick up a bag of their Mardi Gras Magic seasoning and a roux spoon to take home. I'd rate this as a must do event for foodies visiting New Orleans. There are several class menus to choose from.

Great experience and great food! - We took a vegetarian version of the cooking class. Got to make Gumbo, Corn Maque Choux, and Bread Pudding with a salted praline sauce. Our instructor Mark is an experienced chef and great teacher! We had a small group just 4. I’m an experienced home cook, but picked up a bunch of tips and tricks for getting a really good bread pudding and gumbo meal together. The corn thing was very very good. I would highly recommend the experience. We left smarter and full of really good food!

Delicious - My husband and 11 year old son love to cook so this was a perfect excursion for them. They did say they wished they learned more cooking tips but overall they had a great time and the food they made was delicious! Happy they were able to take back leftovers so we could all try!

Super fun activity! - We had an absolute blast with chef David. We highly recommend this activity! We learned how to make bread pudding, jambalaya (with chicken and sausage), and bbq shrimp. The sauce on the shrimp was amazing. The best part of this activity was talking with chef David. He is super personable and spent time getting to know each person in our family.
