This expansive green area is also known as the “Forest of Peace.” Visitors can enjoy a beautiful lake teeming with ducks and various birds. Memorials for other notable individuals, including “Lal Bahadur Shastri,” “Indira Gandhi,” “Rajiv Gandhi,” and “Giani Zail Singh,” are also located here.
• National Gandhi Museum - The next destination is The National Gandhi Museum, which boasts a rich collection of original artifacts, books, journals, documents, photographs, audio-visual materials, exhibitions, art pieces, and other memorabilia closely associated with Mahatma Gandhi, Kasturba, and the Indian Freedom Struggle. It is evolving into a Resource Centre for Gandhian and related Studies and Research. The museum also processes information, data, and audio-visual materials for various users.
