Delhi to Varanasi by Flight

Sarnath - Guests are warmly welcomed at their Delhi hotel for a luxurious tour of Varanasi and Sarnath. A company representative will assist with the transfer from the hotel to Delhi airport. The pick-up is scheduled for 6:00 am to catch the 8:15 am flight to Varanasi, arriving at 9:50 am. Upon arrival at Varanasi airport, a traditional welcome awaits. Guests will then be driven in a private car to Sarnath, a renowned Buddhist site where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after enlightenment. The Mauryan ruler Ashoka, after embracing Buddhism, constructed a significant Stupa at Sarnath. Visitors can also explore the Chaukhandi Stupa, Dhamekha Stupa, and the archaeological museum, which houses numerous ancient artifacts and terracotta objects. After freshening up, lunch can be enjoyed at the hotel or at a nearby restaurant.

Ganga Aarti - In the evening, guests can experience the Aarti ceremony, a famous attraction in Varanasi, where fascinating rituals are performed at the ghats to honor the river Ganges. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Varanasi Boat Ride Service - The day begins with an early morning boat ride on the Ganges, followed by a Heritage Walk along the famous ghats of Varanasi. Locals and pilgrims visit the sacred river to pay homage to the Ganges and offer prayers to the Sun god. During the walk, visitors will witness Hindu cremation rituals at Mankarnika Ghat.

Sankat Mochan Temple - After the morning boat ride, return to the hotel. The afternoon includes a city tour of Varanasi, featuring visits to renowned temples such as the Sankat Mochan Temple. Established by the esteemed Hindu preacher and poet saint Sri Goswami Tulsidas in the early 16th century, the temple is located on the banks of the Assi river.

Bharat Mata Temple - Other sites include Manas Mandir and Bharat Mata Mandir. Some temples have restrictions on carrying cameras, using mobile phones, and wearing leather goods, so it is advisable to follow the tour guide’s instructions.
