- New Delhi - The tour begins with a pick-up from your chosen location in Delhi between 6:30 AM and 7 AM. Pick-up is available from any hotel in Delhi/NCR or the Delhi airport.
- Nizamuddin Railway Station - After being picked up from your hotel in Delhi, our driver will take you to Nizamuddin Railway Station, assist you in locating your train coach, and ensure you are comfortably seated. Your train departs for Agra at 08:00 AM and arrives at 09:50 AM.
- Taj Mahal - Upon arrival at Agra Railway Station at 9:50 AM, our guide will meet you outside your train coach, holding a sign with your name. You will then proceed to visit the Taj Mahal, a monument of love built by Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Your tour guide will share the history, and you will spend approximately 3 hours at the monument.
- Agra Fort - Following the Taj Mahal, you will visit Agra Fort, a massive red stone structure built by the great Mughal Emperor Akbar. This UNESCO World Heritage site, constructed in the 16th century, includes many palaces such as Jahangiri Mahal, Diwan-e-Aam, Pearl Mosque, and others, with views of the Taj Mahal. Spend about 1 hour at this monument.
- DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Agra - After visiting Agra Fort, you will take a lunch break at a 5-star hotel in Agra.
- Itmad-ud-Daula - After lunch, continue your Agra sightseeing with a visit to Itimad-Ud-Daulah. Often described as a “jewel box” and sometimes called the “Baby Taj,” the tomb of I’timād-ud-Daulah is considered a precursor to the Taj Mahal. Please note: this visit is optional, depending on time availability.
- Mehtab Bagh - After visiting the Baby Taj, you will explore Mehtab Bagh, also known as the Sunset Point. Enjoy the rear view of the Taj Mahal from across the Yamuna River. This location is ideal for photographers who enjoy capturing stunning images. Please note: this visit is optional, depending on time availability.
- Nizamuddin Railway Station - Later, you will be dropped back at Agra Railway Station at 05:00 PM. Our guide will assist you in finding your train coach and ensure you are seated properly. Your train departs from Agra Railway Station at 05:50 PM.
Your train will return to Delhi Station around 07:30 PM, where our driver will be waiting for you outside your train coach.
- New Delhi - Upon arrival at the station in Delhi, you will be picked up from your train coach and seated in an air-conditioned vehicle. Our driver will then drop you back at your hotel or the airport in Delhi/NCR.

Very good experience - Very good guide in Agra, Azam Sayeed, very professional and with very good knowledge about the sites and their history.
The tour package was a good experience. Travelling by train to Agra gives you an interesting perspective of every-day of India and was comfortable enough. The three sites visited were, as expected, incredibly beautiful. The food at the hotel was good and safe

Great Day in Agra - This is an amazing way to see the Taj Mahal and explore Agra. I was nervous that a day tour of Agra wouldn’t be enough but we learned that the city is only used for tourism and the military, so there really isn’t any reason to stay overnight. Communication with our tour guide and driver was incredibly clear, they reached out to me the night before and I knew all the details of our transportation. The driver walked us to our specific seats on the train which was very helpful as we’ve heard horror stories of tourists trying to navigate the train systems in Delhi. Even before we got off the train in Agra Faizan had found us and was waiting to receive us. The car was very nice with AC and the driver was super helpful, going above and beyond at every stage. Faizan was incredibly knowledgeable about the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Just like google we could ask him anything and he always knew the answer. As white female tourists walking around Agra, we were harassed a bit by other Indian tourists for photos but Faizan was very helpful in keeping them away from us and making us feel safe. The train was fast and comfortable and they served food. Our lunch at the Hilton was OK and the buffet was pretty extensive. Overall, we had a wonderful time and learned tons about Agra and its history. Would recommend to anyone!

Taj Mahal - Such a great experience, everything was really well planned and allowed us to relax and enjoy these amazing landmarks. Our guide Mosin was terrific throughout the trip, very enthusiastic and knowledgeable.

Made the experience easy - The trip was very easy and we appreciated having guides to help us with everything, including getting on the train. The water and garlands on arrival were a nice touch. Our guide Mohsin was helpful and took great photos for us - there's definitely no need to pay for photos at the Taj Mahal.
There are some side trips that are shopping experiences but it's not a hard sell and the products are actually interesting.

Great way to see the Taj Mahal - Faizan was a brilliant guide, very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Faizan’s detailed knowledge of the history and building of the Taj Mahal really enhanced the trip.
The trip is very well organised with a seamless drop off/pick up from the high speed train. Once you’re picked up in Agra Faizan takes you to the Taj Mahal with a guided tour, you can then go for a very nice buffet lunch at the Double Tree by Hilton (all included in the price). In the afternoon Faizan took us to Agra Fort and we got to visit some local craftspeople. We would highly recommend this tour, a very stress free way to see the Taj Mahal and worth every penny.

Best Tour guide in India - 5 star experience. Faiz our tour guide was extremely helpful in taking us through the Taj Mahal in an efficient and safe manner. He was also very knowledgeable on the Taj Mahal history and Indian culture. Food was of a good quality in a prestigious setting. Clean car for transportation and full flexibility on what we wanted to see.

Asim, best tour guide ever - My day trip to the Taj Mahal was absolutely unforgettable, and that was largely thanks to our guide, Asim. From the moment we met him in, it was clear we were in excellent hands.
Asim is incredibly knowledgeable about the history, architecture, and stories behind the Taj Mahal and the surrounding sites. He didn’t just recite facts—he brought the history to life with fascinating details about the Mughal Empire and the love story behind the monument. Walking through the complex with him made the experience much more meaningful. 
He also made the entire day seamless and stress-free. He expertly navigated the crowds, helped me skip long lines, and guided me to the best vantage points for photos (which he kindly helped take). The timing was perfect—I was able to enjoy the beauty of the Taj without feeling rushed at any point.
What really stood out was Asim’s professionalism and warmth. He was patient, engaging, and clearly passionate about sharing his city and its history. He answered every question thoughtfully and made sure i was comfortable the entire time.
If you’re booking this tour, I highly recommend requesting Asim as your guide. This is a MUST in my opinion, though i am sure all guides are great. He turned what could have been a simple sightseeing trip into a truly memorable cultural experience. This was easily one of the highlights of my visit to India.
