Excellent Tour for First Time Visitors - Kuldeep our guide was engaging and knowledgeable about the sites visited. Our driver transported safely and minimized our walking at every stop. My spouse and I enjoyed the tour and learned much in the process. The lunch location selected was excellent and reasonable.

Need better English speaking guides - Great tour. Only negative issue. Our guide did not speak good English. So many times we couldn't understand what he was explaining

All the iconic places in one afternoon. - To be able to visit so many iconic spot on one tour was amazing. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The Akshardham, though newly built, was history in the making. The carvings and craftsmanship will be there for years to come. Amazing work. Amazing cultural setting. Warm, friendly and welcoming. A+++

Worthwhile - What started poorly with lack of communication with tour company turned out amazing! Young guide Prashan was exceptional! Knowledgeable, courteous, kind, friendly & fun! As taxi drove he filled us with facts & history of temples & took our pics as allowed. Driver was great too & waited for us at each site.

An amazing spiritual tour - This trip was really amazing. My friend and I (both female) went on a trip to India. We both realize that India is not very safe as it can be difficult sometimes. But with proper planning and sticking to the itinerary we aced it. it became an experience of a lifetime. I was always fascinated by temples, and this was my chance to explore Hinduism and temple architecture. it was only because of the guide who took us all the way and explained everything in an interesting way. Akshardham was the best- it has the amazing magnitude of detaining and ornamentation. It was spectacular to see this beautiful temple. I really liked the peacefulness of Lotus Tempel as well. Thanks to the guide and the team. Congrats.

Best examples of Hinduism, this tour is a must! - Our guide Sing was waiting at the lobby for us. He was so cordial and very chilled. First we went to Akshardham temple. We got there at 9:30 which is so important to beat the crowds. You want to be able to move freely through the temple and look everything closely. The beauty of having the driver is that we left all our things in the car, since you can’t bring phones or cameras inside with you. I asked him about the fountains, the movie and the boat ride. It’s totally fine to skip that. The movie is about this man of faith, the boat ride is an indoor thing like it’s a small world and I can’t emphasize the advantage of going with less people. The ISKCON temple is wonderful, flower petals are being sewn into necklaces, there is singing, and the altars are phenomenal. Lotus temple, beautiful, peaceful. Lunch was delicious at a restaurant with great service. We ended with the Qtub Minar. The knowledge and vastness of stories and details that Sing gave us were amazing. This tour is a must.

Great tour & introduction to Delhi - I traveled solo to Delhi and had a few days in the city. I originally hoped to find a group tour of the city and contacted numerous tour operators to see if they had any group tours going but, alas, I didn't find any. Of the various tour companies I contacted, Delhi Airport Services Pvt Ltd had one of the better values for a private solo tour, and the experience was fantastic. The tour included a guide and driver, which is nice because it saved time getting dropped off & picked up right in front of the sites, and my guide Girdhar was super informative, and helped me learn a lot about India, Delhi, and many aspects of Hindu culture and other religions. Akshardham was beautiful and there were virtually no other foreign tourists there, but it's well deserving of a visit. Next was the Baha'i "Lotus temple" and ISKON temples. Then a break for lunch at Lord of the Drinks, which felt like the TGIFridays of India and was fun to experience. After lunch it was around 2pm and rather than fight the Delhi traffic to get to Chattarpur temple, my guide proposed that we change the itinerary to see a Sikh temple instead which was located closer to my hotel and I agreed. The Sikh temple was a wonderful experience to see the devotion of the local people, chanting inside and bathing in a large pool outside, and there was a large dining room where any person, regardless of religion, can come to get a free meal. It was fascinating to take a walk through the kitchens (barefoot!) where volunteers cook huge vats of veggie stews and roti bread is handmade by the hundreds. If you are debating whether to take a tour, you could certainly either hire a taxi for 8 hours to take you from site to site, or just take taxi, Uber or rickshaws relatively inexpensively, however the experience with the guide was infinitely richer, and I learned so much more about India and the local culture by having my guide Girdhar point out features of the art and architecture, and help show you where to take your shoes off, cover your hair, etc at the temples, since there aren't many explanatory signs and all of the temples are quite crowded and you don't want to waste time in the wrong line. Additionally if you are the only guest(s) on the tour, you can customize a bit as I did. This was a great tour to do on a Monday since all of the temples are open, while some other sites around Delhi are closed on Mondays. Highly recommended!

Unhappy Guide - The 3 temples are beautiful but unfortunately as it was raining our guide was clearly not very happy getting wet. The marble floors outside were extremely wet and slippy and almost dangerous barefoot. I fell over quite badly (was assisted by my son and others ) but the guide was so far ahead he was completely unaware. This was a private tour for just the two of us but he clearly did not want to be outside in the rain….

I did not get to visit... - I did not get to visit the lotus temple because it was republic day, no forewarning about this. No monetary compensation as well. I was instead brought to a scarf shop, was pressured into buying a subpar scarf for INR500. A lot of hard selling, then I was treated coldly after, not even shown out of the place. Crossed a river, was pressured by the driver to take a picture of it with my film camera. Went to Iskcon, was not allowed to leave as I was seen as a tourist and had to pay for books i did not want. Was very very awkward. Offered INR100 for him to leave me alone, he wanted INR500.
