- Sai Baba Temple - As one of New Delhi’s oldest and most significant temples, it was established by Sai Bhakta Samaj to promote the teachings of Shirdi Sai Baba.
- Gurudwara Bangla Sahib - This is one of Delhi’s most revered Sikh shrines, centrally located in the city. It was once the residence of Guru Har Krishan, a notable Sikh guru who served many during his life. Today, it remains a vital place of worship for Sikhs, hosting special events and prayers on Guru Har Krishan’s birth anniversary. The Gurudwara features a main prayer hall with the Granth Sahib, a central tank, a library with Sikhism literature, a hospital, a school, and an art gallery. As with all gurudwaras, langar is served at Bangla Sahib, welcoming everyone regardless of religion, caste, gender, or creed to share a meal.
- Swaminarayan Akshardham - ‘Akshardham’ signifies the divine dwelling of God, celebrated as a timeless sanctuary of devotion, purity, and peace. Swaminarayan Akshardham in New Delhi is a Mandir, a Hindu worship house, and a spiritual and cultural campus devoted to devotion, learning, and harmony. Its art and architecture reflect eternal Hindu spiritual messages, vibrant devotional traditions, and ancient designs. The mandir honors Bhagwan Swaminarayan (1781-1830), the avatars, devas, and great sages of Hinduism. The traditionally-styled complex was inaugurated on 6 November 2005 with the blessings of HH Pramukh Swami Maharaj and the dedicated efforts of skilled artisans and volunteers.

Great Guide for Experiencing the History of Delhi - Our hotel arranged a trip with this group while a friend and I were in New Delhi on business. We had a vehicle and driver provided by the hotel and a tour guide provided by this company. The entire experience was great and we really enjoyed our time exploring New Delhi with our tour guide Sunil.
We started the day at the Qutb Complex in South Delhi walking around the tower and exploring the various buildings. Our guide spent time explaining the historical significance of each building and helping us to put it in perspective with other tours we had done previously including Taj Majal. We got some great pictures walking around the complex.
We then drove over to the Lotus Temple to see a more recent constructed building. We toured on a Saturday with heat around 100 F and there was an hour wait to enter the temple, so we decided not to wait, but just walking around the building provided a very interesting perspective.
Next we drove over to Humayun's Tomb and walked around the various buildings in the complex. The tomb building is an incredible sight with very detailed architectural decorations and is a great place to spend an hour or two walking around viewing the level of detail found in the building.
We really enjoyed our time exploring Delhi and were very grateful to Sunil for getting us around town and helping us to learn the history of each place we visited.
