Qutub Minar
The construction of Qutub Minar was initiated by Qutub-ud-din Aibak and completed by Iltutmish.
Following the visit to Qutub Minar, the tour proceeds to India Gate, a memorial honoring 70,000 soldiers who lost their lives in the First World War and the Afghan War. After taking in the views and capturing photos at India Gate, the tour drives past several government buildings such as the President’s House, Parliament House, and Government Secretariat.
In the afternoon, there is a break for lunch.
After lunch, the journey to Agra begins, which is a 3-hour drive.
Upon arrival in Agra, guests check in to the Hotel Crystal Sarovar or a similar establishment.
Full Day Agra Sightseeing and Departure for Delhi
TDI Mall - Start the day early to witness the sunrise at the Taj Mahal.
The Taj Mahal was commissioned by Shah Jahan, the 5th Mughal Emperor, in memory of his beloved wife. It took 22 years to complete with the help of 20,000 artisans. Visitors can take photos and spend ample time enjoying the Taj Mahal before returning to the hotel for breakfast. Afterward, prepare to visit another UNESCO World Heritage site, Agra Fort, constructed by Akbar the Great, the 3rd Mughal Emperor, using red sandstone.
There is a break for lunch.
This is an opportunity to explore Agra’s world-famous handicrafts, including marble inlay work, carpets, embroidery, and jewelry.
In the evening, the tour returns to Delhi, with direct transfers to the hotel or airport upon arrival.
