Old Delhi Food Tour with Vijay: 10 Amazing Tastes, Stories, and a Truly Unforgettable Experience - We did the Old Delhi street food tour with Vijay, and it was absolutely outstanding. He came highly recommended by friends, and he completely lived up to the praise. We tried ten different dishes, each one delicious and thoughtfully chosen, and Vijay explained the history, ingredients, and local context behind everything in such an engaging and knowledgeable way.
The experience felt authentic, well organised, and genuinely special from start to finish. If you want to explore Old Delhi through incredible food while learning along the way, I cannot recommend Vijay highly enough.

Best tour we have ever done - This is hands down the best tour we have done in any city of the world.... definitely the highlight of Delhi and a must do for anyone visiting. Vijay is brilliant. He is a warm, friendly and knowledgeable guide who took us to do many delicious food stalls and places we would not have seen our tried on our own. Super generous with his time and the food. We were well looked after and were lucky to also meet Vijay's wife, Manisha who was amazing company. Can't wait to come back and do one of Vijay's other tours.

Wow, what a tour!! - Food tour in Old Delhi = pure madness (in the best way).
Non-stop flavors, insane smells, and food that hits you straight in the soul.
We walked through tiny alleys, ate in places you’d never find alone, and tasted dishes that made us stop and smile after every bite.
It wasn’t just about the food – it was the stories, the chaos, the people, and the feeling of being right in the heart of Old Delhi.
Authentic, bold, messy, unforgettable.
If you love food – this tour is a must.

Awesome street food tour - I had an incredible food tour in Old Delhi with Vijay. The food was absolutely outstanding, with each stop offering something unique and memorable. Vijay’s knowledge of the area, its history, and the local food culture really elevated the experience. He was engaging, informative, and clearly passionate about Old Delhi and the local cuisine. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting an authentic and unforgettable taste of the city

Awesome day out - Vijay is such a great guy, what a fantastic way to explore old Delhi and take in some awesome food. He is so knowledgeable about the area it was so interesting. Highly recommend all of his tours, will certainly be doing them again.

Delicious & Totally AuthentiC - This Old Delhi Street Food and Spice Market Tour was an amazing experience! Walking through Chandni Chowk, tasting incredible street food at local spots, and visiting the spice market was a real sensory overload in the best way.
Our guide Vijay was fantastic — knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we felt comfortable while explaining the food, culture, and history along the way. Everything felt authentic, safe, and well organised.
A must-do in Delhi, especially if you love food and want to experience the real Old Delhi!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ City Tour & Street Food Tour – Amazing experience! - We did both the City Tour and the Street Food Tour, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The guide spoke excellent English — probably the best English we heard during our entire trip to India — making everything easy to understand and truly engaging.
He took us to the best spots in Old Delhi’s market, showing us authentic places and introducing us to some of the best street food, all from highly recommended and safe vendors. Every stop felt carefully selected and well thought out.
If you have the chance, we highly recommend this tour. It’s the perfect way to experience the city and its food in an authentic and stress-free way.
Definitely a 5-star experience!

Vijay: perfect guide! - Vijay was the best guide ever! He showed and described us Indian life from the St Jay Slum to the old Delhi. During the slum tour we saw the real life of slums in Delhi, the clothes recycling place done by the ladies of Slum, a house for rooftop view, local school etc..
In the old Delhi we saw Chandni chowk, Red fort from outside, Gurudwara Sis Ganj sahib (an amazing experience) with community kitchen visit, Fatehpuri mosque, Spice market, Naughara and at the end we went for a Bicycle Rickshaw ride. During the tour we stopped many times to try some famous street food like Jalebi, Samosa, famous Parathe at Parathe wali gali, chole bhathure, Masala chai and Mango lassi. Vijay showed us no touristic places, but markets and restaurants with local people. He was friendly and we had a lot of fun with him. I recommend him 100% !!!

Old Delhi Food tour. - Most people come on these reviews and tell you whoever is the best. I can’t say that because we have never used anyone else. What I can say is Vijay is fantastic and a really nice person. He tweaked our tour to accommodate what we wanted & didn’t want. No rushing at any point & no pushing us to do things. He is very knowledgeable about the food, history & culture which you can ask him about any time. He made us feel comfortable and secure in the hustle & bustle of Old Delhi, always making sure we were OK.
