Agra Fort - Agra Fort is a historic fort in the city of Agra, India. It served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors until 1638, when the capital moved from Agra to Delhi. Agra Fort is the only fort in India where all early Mughal emperors resided.
Mehtab Bagh - Originally constructed by Emperor Babur as the last in a series of 11 parks on the Yamuna’s east bank, Mehtab Bagh is located north of the Taj Mahal complex and Agra Fort, on the opposite side of the Yamuna River.
Agra to Jaipur (250 Km / 5 Hrs Drive)
Jantar Mantar - Jaipur - After breakfast, check out from the hotel and visit the “Taj Mahal’s Inlay Marble Workshop” to learn about the history and artistry of the Taj Mahal’s white marble. Then, drive straight to Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. Upon arrival, visit Jantar Mantar, built in the 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. The large masonry instruments were used to study the movement of constellations and stars. The enormous sundial still provides accurate time, subject to daily corrections.
City Palace of Jaipur - Located in the heart of the old city, the City Palace occupies about one-seventh of the old city area. It is a blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture, featuring the seven-story Chandra Mahal in the center, which offers a splendid view of the gardens and the city. The Diwan-E-Am (Hall of Public Audience) has intricate decorations and a collection of manuscripts, while the Diwan-E-Khas (Hall of Private Audience) features a marble-paved gallery. Mubarak Mahal houses a rich collection of costumes and textiles. Later, check into the hotel in Jaipur for an overnight stay.
Amber Fort - Visit the Amber Fort, where you can enjoy a Jeep ride to reach the fort’s uphill location. Amer Fort, the old capital of the Kachhwahas, stands atop a range of rugged hills. The fort is notable for its majestic grandeur and sturdy battlements, as well as its beautiful palaces. It is a fine blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture. The solemn dignity of its red sandstone and white marble pavilions, reflected in the lake at the foothill, is a sight to behold. The original palace was built by Raja Man Singh.
Jal Mahal - On the way to Amer, this small palace is set in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. Renovation around the lake is ongoing. The driver will stop the car for 10-15 minutes for photography. After lunch at a local traditional restaurant, enjoy a visit to Jaipur’s famous “Block Painting Workshop” and shopping.
Jaipur to New Delhi
New Delhi - In the late afternoon, return to Delhi after a 6-hour drive and be dropped off at your pre-booked hotel or at the International Airport in Delhi for your onward journey – Trip concludes.
