Next, head towards the enchanting desert gem known as “Osian.” The journey to Osian Desert takes about an hour.
Osian was a significant trading hub on the Silk Route from the 8th to 12th century AD. The Osian Desert is home to numerous intricately carved Hindu and Jain temples dating back to the 6th century. Visitors can also observe the proud local tribes—Bishnois, Bhils, shepherds, potters, weavers, and more—in their natural environment.
Enjoy a variety of adventure activities in Osian, such as ATV rides on the shifting sand dunes and exhilarating Jeep rides that will get your adrenaline pumping. Delight in an exotic folk dance performance by the talented local artists and end the day with stargazing under the clear night sky.
