Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid) - The Masjid-i Jehan-Numa, commonly known as the Jama Masjid of Delhi, is one of India’s largest mosques. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1650 and 1656, it was inaugurated by its first Imam, Syed Abdul Ghafoor Shah Bukhari. Located in Shahjahanabad (now Old Delhi), it served as the imperial mosque of the Mughal emperors until the empire’s end in 1857. The Jama Masjid was a symbol of Islamic power in India and held political significance during British rule. It remains active and is one of Delhi’s iconic sites, closely associated with Old Delhi’s ethos.
Qutub Minar - Qutub Minar is a towering 73-meter-high victory tower, built in 1193 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak after defeating Delhi’s last Hindu kingdom. The tower has five distinct stories, each with a projecting balcony, tapering from a 15-meter diameter at the base to just 2.5 meters at the top. The first three stories are made of red sandstone, while the fourth and fifth are of marble and sandstone. At the tower’s base is the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque, India’s first mosque. An inscription over its eastern gate provocatively states it was built with materials from demolishing ‘27 Hindu temples’. A 7-meter-high iron pillar stands in the mosque’s courtyard. It’s said that encircling it with your hands while standing with your back to it will fulfill your wish. The sightseeing concludes at 6:00 p.m. Overnight stay in a Delhi hotel.

It features a complex of palaces, meeting halls, pavilions, gardens, and temples. Built in the late 10th century by Raja Man Singh, the fort showcases a beautiful blend of Mughal and Rajput architectural styles. Jal Mahal - Jal Mahal is a palace situated in the middle of Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, India. Originally constructed in 1699, the palace and the surrounding lake were renovated and enlarged in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Amber.

Despite the many windows, each is the size of a peephole, ensuring the royal ladies were not seen by the public.

One such delight is the City Palace, a symbol of the city’s regal and royal days. Inside, visitors are captivated by its beauty, architecture, and artifacts. The City Palace was once home to Jaipur’s royal family but is now divided into two parts: one with courtyards and museums, and the other where the royal family still resides.
Jantar Mantar - Jaipur - The Jantar Mantar in Jaipur is a collection of 19 astronomical instruments built by Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh II, Jaipur’s founder. Completed in 1734, it features the world’s largest stone sundial and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is near City Palace and Hawa Mahal.
Albert Hall Museum - Built in 1876 as a concert hall, the Albert Hall Museum is named after London’s Victoria and Albert Museum due to architectural similarities. The building’s foundation was laid in 1876 during the Prince of Wales’ visit to Jaipur. Initially used as a Town Hall in 1880, it later became a museum for Industrial Arts, displaying local artisans’ masterpieces.
Birla Mandir Temple - Birla Mandir, Jaipur (Lakshmi Narayan Temple) is a Hindu temple constructed solely of white marble by the B.M. Birla Foundation in 1988. Dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu (Narayan), it features images of Hindu gods and goddesses and selections from the Gita and Upanishads. Festivals like Diwali and Janamashtami are celebrated here.
Monkey Temple - The Monkey Temple in India is a group of iconic temples at the holy site of Galta, offering mesmerizing views of the Aravali hills and a serene environment. Known for its large colonies of macaque monkeys, the temple complex is adorned with fresco paintings. Located in the Galtaji mountain pass, it provides a peaceful retreat from Jaipur’s bustling city. Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah - The Tomb of I’timād-ud-Daulah is a Mughal mausoleum in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Often described as a “jewel box” and sometimes called the “Bachcha Taj” or “Baby Taj,” it is regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal.
Agra Fort - Agra Fort is a historical fort in Agra, India, built between 1565 and 1573 for Mughal Emperor Akbar. It was the main residence of the Sikarwar clan of Rajputs until the Mughals occupied it. It served as the Mughal Dynasty’s main residence until 1638 when the capital shifted from Agra to Delhi.
Mehtab Bagh - Mehtab Bagh is a charbagh complex in Agra, located north of the Taj Mahal complex and Agra Fort on the opposite side of the Yamuna River. The square garden complex measures about 300 by 300 meters and is perfectly aligned with the Taj Mahal on the opposite bank. After sightseeing, you’ll be taken to the railway station to catch the train to Varanasi in the evening. Overnight stay on the train.

Sarnath - Upon arrival in the morning, a representative will greet you at the Varanasi Railway Station. You’ll be driven to the hotel and assisted with check-in. The day’s sightseeing begins with a tour of Sarnath, located 10 kilometers northeast of Varanasi near the confluence of the Ganges and Varuna rivers in Uttar Pradesh, India. Sarnath is where Buddha taught the Dhamma and established the Buddhist Sangha.
Ganga Aarti - Enjoy a sunset cruise on the Ganges, offering a grandstand view of the ancient prayer and oil lamp ceremony.
Varanasi to Delhi (By Train)
Ganges River - Early in the morning, the tour guide will meet you at the hotel for a drive to the boat cruise on the Ganges River. Enjoy the sunrise and see Varanasi’s historical ghats. The boat trip offers insight into Kashi’s tradition and culture. The best time to visit the ghats is dawn when pilgrims take their morning dip.
Dashashwamedh Ghat - Dasadwamedh Ghat is the most well-known of all the ghats. Enjoy the boat journey and observe the people on the ghats: young men displaying their strength in yoga poses, Brahmin priests praying, and women bathing quietly in their sarees. Return to the hotel at 8:00 a.m. for breakfast and some time to freshen up.
Bharat Kala Bhavan - An art and architecture museum housing a vast collection of paintings, Hindu and Buddhist sculptures, and other archaeological materials. You’ll travel to Delhi by train, with an overnight stay on the train. After sightseeing, you’ll be taken back to the Varanasi Railway Station to catch your train to Delhi. Stay on board the train for the night.
