Amazing India Experience - An amazing trip with informative tour guides and the most wonderful driver, Takhat — who we affectionately called “Boss Man” throughout the journey. He was truly a highlight of the trip. Nothing we asked was ever too much, and we had plenty of requests! We shared many laughs along the way, and the car was new, spacious, and very comfortable. Our 11-day tour, Taj Mahal, Wildlife & Royal Castles, was packed with incredible experiences. There were so many highlights, but the accommodation in the forts and castles was absolutely breathtaking. Most of the places we visited were fascinating and beautiful. That said, the pace of the trip was quite fast with a lot to see and do, so if you’re looking for a more relaxed, laid-back experience, this may not be the best fit. We would probably recommend skipping Ranthambore National Park. It felt less like a lush jungle and more like an arid landscape with dusty tracks and sparse trees. The large canter vehicle was quite uncomfortable, and wildlife sightings — especially tigers — were very limited. We chose 3-star accommodation (excluding the castles and forts, which felt more like 4-star), and while many of the hotels were set in lovely surroundings, some fell short in terms of cleanliness — particularly the bathrooms and linen. However, TourRadar were exceptional with their customer service. Any issues we raised were handled quickly and professionally, which we really appreciated it. Loved this experience so much that we are definitely going on another TourRadar tour soon. Thank you TourRadar Vivian and Mirells

Well organised from start to finish. - We had a great experience with Swastik. From the choice of hotels, the tour guides and above all the excellent drivers, everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Our two drivers, Bhagi and Leela made light work of the challenging Indian roads and traffic. Both remained calm and cheerful throughout and their main priority was that we have the holiday of a lifetime. I would highly recommend Swastik, who ensure a trouble free and enjoyable experience for all.

Five Star Rajasthan Tour!! - I traveled to India for a wedding and then wanted to spend a couple weeks exploring Rajasthan. Feedback is based on being a solo female traveler. Itinerary - I booked Swastik India Journeys’ 11-Day “Taj Mahal and Wildlife with Royal Stay at Castles” and it was a blast! It had the perfect blend of big cities, small towns, and nature. I rode in boats, on trains, in cars, and on elephants. Driver - Pradeep Singh was my driver the entire time and he was absolutely amazing. Besides being a patient and safe driver, he also shared fascinating details about history and daily life in India, smoothed out itinerary glitches, knew the best times to visit busy tourist spots, was quick to stop for chai breaks, and any shopping needs. He helped me get money at ATMs, arranged laundry service, tweaked schedules and rooming so I could enjoy local events over the new year. He made it a flawless tour of Rajasthan. Hotels - This tour had such a fun variety of hotels. Highlights included Fort Chanwa in Luni (shout out to Babu Lal and his family for a charming tea in their home), the magnificent Deogarh Mahal palace where I enjoyed some pool time and wandering around the village, and glamping at the Jungle Cave Resort after the safari, which was so unique. Each of these places had entertainment in the evening with campfires, singing, and dancing. Tour Guides - In each city I had a guide native to the area explain the local attractions and the history behind them. Special shout outs to Prem in Jaipur (knew where to get all the best photos inside the Amber Fort and the City Palace) and Amrit in Agra. Amrit’s telling of the story behind the Taj Mahal literally brought tears to my eyes. He really brought the saga to life! Activities - I got to do so many exciting things on this tour! Some of the highlights were the jeep safari in Ranthambore National Patk (spotted tons of animals!), dangled off the train from one of my favorite Bollywood numbers (‘Chaiyya, Chaiyya’ from Dil Se), and rode an elephant in Jaipur. Shopping - I went to India with a specific shopping list of treasures I wanted to bring home. Everything from nicer items like jewelry and bedding sets, down to fun bangles and candies from the local grocery store. Between Pradeep and the local guides, I got everything on my list and they’re all gorgeous. I did have the fine jewelry (diamonds, rubies, emeralds, gold, and silver) appraised when I came home. They were all authentic, valued higher than what I paid for them, and the appraiser was impressed by the craftsmanship and uniqueness. I really appreciate the trustworthiness, knowledge, and kindness of the entire team. Booking was easy and Karni in the main office was quick to respond to any questions I had. Five star experience all around!

First Time India Trip - First time, truly solo (no other tourists) trip to India. All was as advertised. I saw many astonishing places, and the workmanship of the rugs, textiles, clothes, jewelry, marble works was amazing! Be prepared to buy more than you expect. My driver, Takhat, was fun to travel with. He made great suggestions along the way. We had some minor logistical problems that Takhat and Swastik handled smoothly. Recommend!!

Wonderful experience of the Golden Triangle and more , sadly no tigers - A wonderful experience, highly recommended. Swastik administration are excellent: timely, professional, on point and always helpful, We cannot over-thank our two drivers: Mr Pradeep Singh and Mr Mahendra Rao. Firstly and most importantly both were super safe and courteous drivers with GPS level local knowledge. Both went way above to provide us with the best experiences of India, always thinking of us and taking care to ensure our safey and enjoyment. Vehicles were well maintained and always clean with water and stops at appropriate intervals. Agra excepted, the guides were very well informed, personable and good company. We learned so much of Indian history, culture, architecture and the different religions. The hotels and overnight accomodation were varied and generally of a good standard. Always and everywhere the hotel staff and management worked diligently to optimise our stays. Sardargarh was a particular highlight. Any trip to India will always be a compromise based on time. There is so much to see and learn. Distances are substantial and road travel takes significant time (even by Australian standards) as the standard of the roads varied from 4 lane freeway to dirt track. Plenty of "Indian road massages". Its frustrating to pass close by amazing sites but not stop: the Nathdwara Statue of Belief and Fatehpur Sikri for two. Next time!

Exceeded everyone's expectations! - Our small group has just completed an 11-day Golden Triangle and Safari tour, and the experience exceeded all of our expectations. We were deeply impressed by the food, the people, and the culture of India. Our host and driver, Mahendra Rao, was exceptional and ensured that everything ran smoothly. From an immaculate car, navigating chaotic streets to resolving hotel issues, he was consistently attentive. He kept us supplied with fresh water and tissues, provided exquisite restaurant recommendations and also included several impromptu stops that were not on our original itinerary which we were all thrilled with. Mahendra Rao's english and communication skills are excellent. I highly recommend requesting him personally, especially if it is your first visit to India.

An unforgettable trip and experience - I had an absolutely amazing and enlightening 11 days trip to Delhi, Rajasthan and Agra. Swastik offered an incredibly beautiful trip. It contradicted practically everything negative thing I had often heard about India. My driver, Kapil, was simply outstanding!!! He went out of his way to help me everyday of the trip👏👏👏. He recommended restaurants and places to go. He spent hours trying to help me with my new I17 Apple IPhone, which was not connecting to WiFi as always the first 3 days of the trip. He was heroic in finding ATM’s that would accept my US debit card His driving in the “crazy” Indian traffic” was great! Finally, the Royal families of India created unforgettable beauty in their palaces and forts everywhere we travelled The Indian people was incomparably kind in dozens of instances to a degree I’ve not found in the 75 countries I’ve visited.

A very enjoyable solo trip! - Please note that this is not necessarily a group tour: since departure is guaranteed even with one traveller, I found out upon arrival in Delhi that it was going to be a solo trip for me. Despite the surprise, it was still an enjoyable tour. My driver Prem was like an elder brother to me, and made sure that I never felt alone.

It was terrible. - I did a two-week Taj Mahal tour with this company. It was organized by Tour Radar. I didn't know this company. I wish I had come to India with another tour company. Everything was a disaster!!! Most of what was promised wasn't done. They took me on a two-week tour of India in an old 10-year-old Toyota Etios. It was a complete fiasco. They provided a different guide for each city; the guides were terrible except for Jaipur and Agra. They constantly took me to places selling carpets and souvenirs, wasting my time. The hotels were 3-star but not that good. In Agra, I had to change rooms at 12:30 AM because there was a wedding there. Children were constantly running and screaming in the hotel corridors, and people were talking loudly. The noise didn't stop until 3 AM. In Udeipur, the guide asked for extra money for a boat trip, even though it was part of the tour program. At The SM Hotel in Delhi, people were fighting in the lobby at 6 AM. When I was checking out, I asked the reception what all that noise was about at six in the morning. They laughed and said, "It's the kitchen staff, sir, no problem." And when my driver dropped me off at the airport, I gave him a 5500 rupee tip. An hour later, while I was still inside the airport, he messaged me asking why I gave him such a small tip.
