Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid) - Jama Masjid, also known as Masjid-i Jahānnumā, is a historic congregational mosque in Delhi, India. Commissioned by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, its construction began in 1650 and was completed in 1656. The mosque is celebrated for its impressive scale and architectural grandeur, showcasing the Indo-Islamic style of the Mughal era.
Rajghat Dam - Raj Ghat is the final resting place of Mahatma Gandhi, one of the most revered leaders of all time. Gandhi was cremated on the banks of the holy Yamuna River on January 31, 1948, and his ashes were buried here. A monument was subsequently erected at this site.
India Gate - Originally known as the All India War Memorial, India Gate honors soldiers who died in World War I and the Third Anglo-Afghan War. Designed by Edwin Lutyens and completed in 1931, it bears the names of approximately 13,300 servicemen. After India’s independence, it became the site of the Amar Jawan Jyoti, a memorial dedicated to the unknown soldier.

Humayun’s Tomb - Humayun’s Tomb (Persian: Maqbara-i Humayun) is the tomb of Emperor Mirza Nasir al-Din Muhammad, commonly known as Humayun, situated in Delhi, India. Commissioned by Humayun’s first wife and chief consort, Empress Bega Begum, in 1558, it was designed by Persian architects Mirak Mirza Ghiyas and his son, Sayyid Muhammad. It was the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent and is located in Nizamuddin East, Delhi, near the Dina-panah Citadel, also known as Purana Qila (Old Fort), founded by Humayun in 1538. It was the first structure to use red sandstone on such a scale. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993, it has undergone extensive restoration work. Besides the main tomb enclosure of Humayun, several smaller monuments line the pathway leading up to it from the main entrance in the West, including one that predates the main tomb by twenty years.

Commissioned by Qutb-ud-din Aibak, the founder of the Delhi Sultanate, in 1199 CE, it commemorates his victory over Prithviraj Chauhan and the establishment of Muslim rule in India. Aibak completed only the first story, with his successor, Iltutmish, adding three more stories. Further additions and repairs were made by later rulers like Firoz Shah Tughlaq and Sikandar Lodi.
