Day 2: Explore Delhi
New Delhi - After breakfast, embark on a full-day city tour of Old Delhi and New Delhi. Delhi is divided into two parts, Old Delhi and New Delhi. Old Delhi was once ruled by Muslim Sultans for about 700 years and later became the capital of the Mughal Empire between the 17th and 19th centuries. In contrast, New Delhi is a splendid modern city, constructed by the British when they decided to move their capital from Calcutta in 1911.
The tour of Old Delhi includes a visit to Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, the Red Fort, built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, Rajghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, and a delightful rickshaw ride through the bustling streets of Chandni Chowk, the busiest market in Old Delhi.
Sightseeing in New Delhi includes a visit to India Gate, built in memory of Indian soldiers who died during the First World War, Rashtrapati Bhawan, constructed in the mid-20th century as the Imperial residence of the Viceroy, now the official residence of the President of India, and Parliament House, a unique circular structure with vast halls housing the Upper and Lower Houses of Parliament.
Humayun’s Tomb, the first Mughal garden tomb resembling the famous Taj Mahal, and Qutab Minar, one of Delhi’s most striking monuments and the world’s tallest brick minaret at 72.5 meters, are also part of the tour.
Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 3: Delhi to Agra
Taj Mahal - On the way, visit the tomb of Mughal Emperor ‘Akbar the Great,’ a magnificent gateway in white and colored marble with four elegant minarets.
Agra is renowned for the world’s most beautiful monument of love, the Taj Mahal. The history of Agra is much older than the Mughal era, but during the Mughal Empire, Agra became a great center of art, culture, learning, and commerce.
Agra is famous for its marble work, such as tabletops, vases, and plates, inlaid with semi-precious stones or gems in lavish floral designs, imitating those found in the Taj Mahal.
Arrive in Agra and check into your hotel. In the evening, continue with a city tour of Agra, visiting the massive Agra Fort, built from red sandstone by the Mughal Emperor Akbar, containing the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Itmad-ud-Daulah, one of the most beautiful Mughal tombs, stands over the Yamuna River.
Day 4: Agra to Ranthambore
Ranthambore National Park - Early morning, proceed for a Ranthambore Wildlife Safari Tour. Your Safari representative will meet you at your hotel. Day 5: Ranthambore to Jaipur
Jaipur - Rise early and embark on a third Jeep Safari into Ranthambore National Park. Return and enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Later, drive towards Jaipur.
Jaipur, or the Pink City, was founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II (1693-1743) and is the capital city of Rajasthan. Jaipur, along with Agra and Delhi, forms a circuit known as India’s Golden Triangle, the most popular tourist destinations in India.

Jantar Mantar is the largest stone observatory in the world and one of the five astronomical observatories built by Maharaja Jai Singh in India.
