A great experience of Delhi food! - We really enjoyed this tour with Deepak. He was able to show us the best places to eat in Delhi. There are so many options and choices of food that having someone listen to what food we like and take us to the best places was great. We visited about six different places, so don't fill up on food too early!

Best Tour Ever!! - This was our first time at India and our honeymoon. My wife booked us this tour as a surprise. They say people make experiences. Let me tell you if you are going to do this tour ask for Kanika. She knows the city inside out. She took us to places where the food is the best. We felt like we weren't tourists in a strange place. She made us feel like family. For us she raised the bar on what a tour guide should really be. Thank you again and we will see each other again Kanika Raymond and Vimar.

Great introduction to the vibrancy and excitement of Indian street food - I would highly recommend this food tour of old and new Delhi. I only had a very short time in Delhi at the end of a business trip and this was a great way to get a feel for some of the sights and sounds of Delhi. We had a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide Deepak who I highly recommend. The monsoon season is typically not as popular with tourists as some other times of year. The rain did present some challenges with a downpour slowing down the start of the tour. However, it did not diminish our enjoyment. Everything we tasted was freshly cooked /prepared in front of us and was delicious. We also got to experience the Delhi metro (clean and efficient), and ride in a rickshaw (great for getting through the congested streets). Traffic in Delhi is not for the faint-hearted, but the rickshaw allows you to see things that you would never see from the inside of the car. Food tasting included some of the most scrumptious fried potatoes that you will ever taste, samosa's, and the Nepalese specialty of mo mo's (just a sample of what you may eat). We also had the pleasure of visiting a Sikh temple, and exploring the spice markets of Old Delhi. Tip : Wear study shoes. Thanks Deepak, it was terrific!

Walking food tour - Delhi - It was our first visit to India so, after a long flight, and then witnessing the 'chaos' of local traffic, the prospect of immediately leaving the hotel to go exploring was an intimidating one. Deepak came to collect us from our hotel, loaned us tickets for the metro, and led us to the metro station. A quick briefing on how to keep ourselves and our belongings safe - wise in any city - and then to the food in a busy Old Delhi street. We started off with vegetarian dishes and Deepak explained what went into each dish and how they are made. No two dishes come from the same stall so there is a perhaps 3 to 5 minute walk between stops - during which Deepak also points out any sights or sounds of interest. We also visited a mosque/temple and a fascinating spice market before taking a rickshaw (electric) to New Delhi for part two - this was more meat-based and fusion style and every bit as enjoyable. True to his word, Deepak had to help us finish some of the food towards the end - we could eat no more. This is more than merely tasting and sampling - by the end you will not need to eat again that day. This tour takes you straight to the heart of the noise and bustle of the city - which without a guide we simply would not have seen on day 1. Deepak put us at ease and provided a fascinating, and tasty introduction to this remarkable city. Finally, he delivered us safely back to the metro station we had started from. Thank you Deepak. Readers: I recommend this tour to you. (Note: we were 2 people - I don't know what the maximum group size is.)
