On the fort’s grounds stands one of the remaining Ashokan pillars, dating back to 273 B.C. This pillar, crafted from polished sandstone, features inscriptions in the ancient Brahmi script.

This mosque is a magnificent example of Tughlaq architecture, constructed from quartzite and limestone.
