Gurudwara Bangla Sahib - Begin by visiting Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, a Sikh Temple located in the heart of the capital city. It is one of the most important and sacred Sikh shrines. The temple is recognizable by its golden dome and tall flagpole. The grounds include the Gurudwara, a kitchen, a large (holy) pond, and an art gallery. As with all Sikh Gurudwaras, the concept of Langar (Community Kitchen) is practiced, and people of all races and religions are welcome to eat in the Gurdwara kitchen (langar hall). The food is prepared by gursikhs and volunteers. Visitors are requested to cover their heads and remove their shoes. Anyone can volunteer at the Gurudwara.
Humayun’s Tomb - Next, visit Humayun’s Tomb, a world heritage site and the final resting place of the second Mughal Emperor Humayun.
