Agra - Start the journey with a private pickup at 8 am from your preferred location in Delhi, Gurugram, or Noida. You will then be driven to Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal, via a 3-hour expressway drive. Upon reaching Agra, you will check into your hotel.

Agra Fort - Afternoon sightseeing in Agra includes a visit to the historic Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This significant 16th-century Mughal monument, known as the Red Fort of Agra due to its red sandstone construction, is located near the gardens of the Taj Mahal. Within the fortress’s 2.5-km-long walls, there are many enchanting palaces, such as the Jahangir Palace and the Khas Mahal, built by Shah Jahan. You will also explore numerous audience halls, like the Diwan-i-Khas, and two beautiful mosques.

Mehtab Bagh - In the evening, proceed to a Photo Tour of the Taj Mahal from Mehtab Bagh — the moonlit garden — believed to have been designed by Shah Jahan to view the Taj on moonlit nights, away from the bustling crowds. The garden complex is situated on the left bank of the Yamuna opposite the Taj Mahal. It is a large square measuring approximately 300x300 meters and is directly aligned with the Taj Mahal. The forestry plantations and agricultural fields provide a green forecourt to the Taj Mahal and its reflection in the Yamuna. Here, you can witness the sunset over the Taj Mahal.

Agra Half Day Sightseeing & Delhi Drop-off

Taj Mahal - At sunrise, visit the Taj Mahal (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) - widely regarded as the most beautiful building in the world. Built by Shah Jahan as a memorial for his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who passed away giving birth to their 14th child in 1631.

Return to the hotel for breakfast and check out, after which you will have free time to explore the local handicrafts and shopping centers of the city, where you can find marble inlay work, high-quality carpets, Zari and embroidery, leather goods, and more.

Please note: The Taj Mahal is closed to tourists every Friday, so if your scheduled visit falls on a Friday, you will visit the Taj Mahal at sunset the day before.

Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah - Itmad-Ud-Daulah, often referred to as the “Baby Taj,” is the first Mughal structure to be built entirely of white marble. This exquisite tomb for Mirza Ghiyas Beg is arguably more delicate in appearance than the Taj Mahal due to its particularly finely carved jali (marble lattice screens).

New Delhi - After exploring the ancient city of Agra, your private vehicle will take you on a 3-hour drive back to Delhi, Gurugram, or Noida, where you will be dropped off at the airport, railway station, hotel, or any other desired location.
