Real India-strong experience - It was great experience to see how the people live, what are their life conditions, but most important how they work to improve the possibilities for young generation in their community centre, our guide was very professional, kind and gave us a whole picture about the situation in colony. We can warmly recommend this tour!

A private tour that is simply inspiring and inspiring - It was a very valuable experience.
Tours are at the Connaught Place station exit, which is easy to meet. My guide Badal felt good about people from the moment he met the 20-year-old. He was patient with me, even though I was very good at English and had poor English.
The slums visited by the person who traveled metro in 30-40 minutes from the meeting place.
Basically, photography is not allowed, so it is not suitable for photography purposes, but basically slum tours, including others, are difficult to photograph, and even without photography, they will explain real life and their explanations in detail until you know more about them, so please experience them.
He goes around the slums, which are mainly in the clothing industry, and tells us in great detail how the people there spend their time, what the infrastructure is like, and what features each location has.
The store you stopped by on your way? The chai we received was also very delicious and the time to mix locally was precious.
After that, I have time to visit a school run by a non-profit organization that organizes the tour and interact with instructors and students. At that time, everyone told me about their activities with vigor, and I was impressed by their enthusiasm.
There may be some difficult situations for people who are not good at interacting, but everyone you meet is good enough to surpass them, so even people who are usually bad at it should try this tour.
It was such a moving and inspiring experience that I personally would like to visit again and again to see what they are doing in the future.

Experiencing India with the help from locals. - It was a wonderful time, with amazing guides. They gave detailed insight about all the places we visited, and it was an all around great time. We were with Them for several days, and we could not have asked for better guides.

Fabulous Slum Tour - This tour was one of the highlights in our short stay in Delhi. Our tour guide, Badal, was wonderful. He is a great ambassador for Learning by Locals and his community. He is an inspiring young person and excellent guide and went way way way above and beyond in the time he spent with us.
Learning by Locals is a fabulous initiative and I would recommend a tour with Delhi by Locals. I wish we had longer in Delhi as we would definitely have done other tours with them.
If you are in Delhi you MUST do a tour with Delhi by Locals, I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Pradeep, the founder of the company and the young people he helps and then works with will make your heart sing!

"Slum" tour illustrates humanity, resilience, and hope - 20 year-old Badal was an excellent tour guide. His English was very good. He grew up in and continues to reside in the Colony. After explaining how the fabric scrap recycling business worked and showing us various locations involved in it, he took us to see his father's shop (though we weren't encouraged to buy anything, nor did we). The most interesting part of the tour was visiting Learning By Locals, the NGO affiliated with and supported by Delhi By Locals, which provides education and training in English, computers, etc., to young people in the Colony. We interacted with several classes of children and young adults. While the physical appearance of the Colony can be grim, the smiling, playful, and curious young children who said hello to us and the determined students we spoke with impressed us and gave us hope. A most worthwhile afternoon and one of our highlights in Delhi!
