It is a 60-meter long and 15-meter wide monument, protected by the Archaeological Survey of India under the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act of 1958. Although there are no definitive historical records of its construction, it is believed to have been originally built by the legendary King Agrasen and later reconstructed in the 14th century by the Agrawal community, which traces its roots to Maharaja Agrasen. This site is a popular tourist attraction and social gathering spot in New Delhi.
