Great time, great guide, great food. - Aman was a great guide, he introduced us to new foods and variations on ones we had tried before. The rickshaw ride through the small crowded streets was an experience not to be missed. Aman was friendly and went out of his way to cater the experience to our needs. I would do this again if I was to come back to Delhi.

Excellent - Aman was a lovely host and happy to take us where we wanted in terms of what kind of foods we wanted to try. Everything was delicious from the potato paratha with banana sauce (sounds weird I know but really tasty) to the hot sweet sticky jalevi. It was actually raining quite heavily during the tour but we were sheltered under the canopy of the rickshaw and the neon soaked wet streets gave it a Blade Runner vibe. Highly recommended fun way to see the narrow streets of the old city

He made sure all our wishes were taken care of and showed us street food as well as high quality fabric stores around old delhi. Avoid!! - The person messaging to organise your trip is whither the tour guide or the driver, it’s someone completely random elsewhere. The driver was 15mins late despite me confirming the day before the time. He also spoke no English so I was a bit cautious where he was leading me as he also parked no where near the hotel. If it hadn’t been for the marching reg plate I would not have got in the car. We then drove to the first sight - again no communication from driver so no idea where I’m going - to pick up someone else who turned out to be the guide. Immediately jumped into a cycle rickshaw which I knew I’d be paying for but there was no communication about how much I should pay him, only with hindsight spending another 2 weeks in India I was absolutely ripped off. We first went to the mosque, which was good and I got some info from the guide. Though he kept saying once the prayers were finished we would go inside, but he clearly got bored of waiting and we left before I had a chance to explore properly. The “for photo opp” is a big lie, we were no where near it and was so far in the distance only a really good camera could take a nice photo. And although I had one; we passed onto another road so fast I didn’t get the chance to take a photo. The walk round Chandi Chow was good, full of people which I expected but the guide seemed more concerned with trying to hold my hand through the crowd (which I shook off) than actually giving me information on it. And the only shop we went to just happened to be the one full of only other westerners and 3x more expensive than any other shop. It also felt like we weren’t allowed to leave that stop until I’d bought something. I then expressed I was hungry so we went for lunch in probably the most expensive restaurant I went to throughout my whole time in India and despite the guide saying the company covered him I ended up paying for both our lunches. And when I questioned it he suddenly didn’t understand English very well. The guide then told me we had lots of time left (because we were so quick going to everything as he clearly couldn’t be bothered) and we could visit some other sights. I asked to go to Humayans tomb but he said no as it was ‘too far’ (it wasn’t) and instead he would take me to another market. Well of course it wasn’t a normal market, no it was another stitch up where the prices were 3x higher; everyone shopping there was a westerner and the guide just kept handing me off to different merchants trying to sell me stuff despite me saying repeatedly I didn’t want anything and this was still only my first day in India. I’d had enough by this point so I asked to be taken back to my hotel, this is the point where the guide tells me tipping is expected for the driver (and sub note himself) which I didn’t agree with as he was late to begin with. When I got dropped off this is the first and only time the driver locked the doors so I literally couldn’t get out until I had given him a tip. The guide then walked me to the hotel, because the driver again chose to park miles away, and seemed expectant of a tip as well but I was so angry I said thanks and walked off. And of all this wasn’t bad enough, I was made to feel exceptionally uncomfortable from the get go as the guide chose to tell me repeatedly he thought I was beautiful and every time I spoke to him he leaned in just that little bit too close. As a solo female traveller my guard went straight up. So I spent more time worrying about him than enjoying the actual tour, which turned out to be crap anyway. He also insisted I do a review then and there, when I said no the tour wasn’t over and my signal wasn’t great he tried to get me to sue his data to do it. I kept saying no but this came up 5/6 times throughout the tour. Then when it was over both the guide AND his boss repeatedly messaged me to review them. So based off that it went from a 2 star to a 1 star review. Honestly just don’t bother, I got it for a discounted price and felt ripped off. If I had paid full price I would have been furious
