A must-do to experience Old Delhi - We did the Chef's Tour with Ranveer and it's one of the best things we did in Delhi! My husband and I happened to be the only ones on the tour, so that was nice. The organization was good, they sent email reminders, and Ranveer Whatsapped me on the day with where to meet, and he was on-time and friendly. The whole tour was about 3.5 hours, but we did stop for rain a few times so might usually be shorter. We ventured to places we would NOT have gone by ourselves, as although we toured most of New Delhi by ourselves, we were a bit intimidated by Old Delhi, and in fact most of our Old Delhi experience was from this 1 tour. We visited many different food locations on foot, and finished with a rickshaw ride back to the starting point. Don't fill up too much on the first foods, as there are a lot! We had no stomach problems afterwards, we did make sure to sanitize our hands a lot just in case, but all the food was good quality. All the foods were included in the price so no other costs on the day (except a tip to the guide). We loved visiting the temples, and I got to try making a few rotis at one. It gave us the confidence to visit a couple of other temples in the area as we knew a bit more of what to expect. Also loved the spice markets, and some of the beautiful old doorways Ranveer took us past. We also stopped at a couple of shops, there was no hard sell although I expect they get a commission, we did buy some tea and spices from a shop, but we got in trouble at customs re-entering the US, so be aware that tea and spices might not make it home with you if you get checked! It unfortunately rained heavily during our tour, but Ranveer was really good at judging whether to stop hide from the rain for a bit, or press on when it got less heavy, and checked with us frequently to make sure were happy. Definitely wear closed shoes that you don't mind getting dirty, especially if it's raining, as there were open drains etc. Overall I'm very glad we did this tour, and would recommend it to everyone!

Safe and exciting market visit as solo female! - This was the perfect way to enjoy a visit to the Chandni Chowk market in Old Delhi as a solo female traveler. I felt completely safe and though it is a busy, intimidating place, I still got to let my guard down and enjoy the hustle and bustle fully. All while trying some of the best street food in this area! Our guide Ranveer was super knowledgeable and shared information about so much more than just the food. From history to modern day religions, he was great! This was my second tour with A Chef's Tour, after an unforgettable one in Bangkok, and I would definitely book with them again in one of their many other locations.

Best way to see (taste) Chandni Chowk - Great tour. More than just a food tour, you learn about the history, get into the busy streets of Chandni Chowk, spice market and get to experience the Gurudwara. Thanks to Praveen for leading the tour and not loosing me Also, showing me the right / safe places to have street food. If doing this tour be ready to walk and use all your senses. Prepare yourself for densely crowded streets and go hungry.

Amazing food tour! - Loved this food tour! We were back and forth between deciding which one we should do. Our tour guide, GS, was awesome. He found us at the beginning of the trip when we weee a little lost, told us so much about the culture and life in India, and kept track of everyone while navigating the busy street. He was also accommodating to my gluten free allergy and knowledgeable of what was ok to eat. Highly recommend! We tried SO many different, new foods.

Superb Delhi Food Tour! - The food tour in Delhi was great! We arrived at the meeting point and the guide was ready and waiting. It was good value for money and our guide Ranveer was very kind and helpful. The tour lasted for around 4 hours, and it didn’t feel rushed or that we did too much. As well as the food, we also enjoyed visiting the temple and the overall atmosphere was great! We are a family of four and we were joined by a couple from another country and a man who arrived later. The smaller group meant that we didn’t feel overwhelmed or ignored. The food was also very tasty! Overall, this food tour was excellent and we would highly recommend. Title: Great value for money and excellent tour! Photos: no photos

Chandni Chok Food Tour - This is a wonderful tour with plenty of opportunity for tasting at renowned shops and stalls in Chandi Chok. It was the highlight of my stay in Delhi. Highly recommend instead of just wandering Chandi Chok. Our guide Ranveer was super. Everyone thought it excellent value for money.

So informative and so much food - Don’t have breakfast as you will be too full before the halfway point. There are so many things to sample. Guide was great. And a lot of the shops visited have been around for years. You would have walked past them if you were on your own. Great value for money.
