Day-01: Delhi - Agra - Delhi Day Trip

New Delhi - In the morning, our driver will collect you from your hotel or the Delhi airport and commence the drive to Agra. Upon arrival, you’ll explore the awe-inspiring Taj Mahal - a monument that stands as one of the seven wonders of the world and is perhaps the most lavish testament to love ever constructed. You will also visit the Agra Fort - an imposing red-sandstone fortress located along the Yamuna River. Here, the Emperor would listen to public grievances. In the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience), adorned with marble pavilions and delicate floral inlays, the Emperor would sit upon his jewel-encrusted Peacock Throne to meet with foreign dignitaries and monarchs of allied nations. Afterwards, you’ll return to Delhi and stay overnight at a hotel we have arranged for you.

Taj Mahal - Explore the magnificent Taj Mahal - a world-renowned wonder and an opulent symbol of affection. It took 20,000 workers more than 17 years to erect this memorial to Shah Jahan’s cherished spouse.

Agra Fort - Visit the Agra Fort - a grand red-sandstone fortification that rises along the banks of the Yamuna River.

Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah - The Tomb of I’timād-ud-Daulah is a Mughal mausoleum in Agra. Often referred to as a “jewel box” and sometimes dubbed the “Baby Taj,” the tomb of I’timād-ud-Daulah is considered a precursor to the Taj Mahal.
