• Purana Qila - Constructed by Emperor Humayun in the 1530s, this monument stands over Delhi’s second city, ‘Dina-Panah,’ during the Mughal Empire. Visitors can admire the Bada Darwaza and the magnificent Mughal grandeur, along with the Indo-Islamic architectural influence. The tour continues to the intriguing Sher Mandal, situated at the highest point of Delhi’s Old Fort, known as Purana Qila. It is believed to have been built by Mughal emperor Humayun as an astronomical library and pleasure tower. Following this, explore the Qila-i-Kuhna Mosque, erected by Afghan emperor Sher Shah Suri in 1541 after seizing the Fort.
