Day 1: Delhi - Agra

New Delhi - At your preferred time, our driver will pick you up from your hotel, airport, railway station, or any desired location in Delhi, Noida, or Gurugram. You will then be driven to Agra in a comfortable, air-conditioned private car. The journey from Delhi to Agra takes just over 3 hours via the Yamuna Expressway, one of India’s finest roads. Upon arrival in Agra, you will meet your guide and begin your sightseeing tour.

Akbar’s Tomb - This mausoleum houses the remains of Emperor Akbar and is a significant example of Mughal architecture, located in Sikandra on the city’s outskirts. Uniquely, Akbar initiated its construction, and it faces the rising sun rather than Mecca’s mosque.

Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah - Next, explore the Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb, also known as the Baby Taj. This was the first Mughal structure entirely made of marble, the first to extensively use pietra dura, and the first tomb built on the Yamuna’s banks, predating the Taj Mahal. It resembles a jewel box and is quite captivating.

Mehtab Bagh - Finally, visit Mehtab Bagh for a stunning sunset view of the Taj Mahal. As one of Agra’s last Mughal gardens, Mehtab Bagh is perfectly aligned with the Taj Mahal’s gardens, offering a picture-perfect view. It is now a horticultural delight with a variety of blooming flowers, medicinal herbs, and numerous fruit trees enhancing the park’s beauty.

Fatehpur Sikri - Once the capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar, explore Fatehpur Sikri before driving back to Delhi. You will be dropped off at your hotel in the evening, leaving you with cherished memories.
