Whirling Dervish Ceremony: This is considered one of the most mystical rituals globally, inspired by Rumi (1207-1273) and taught by Shams-i Tabriz to Mevlana. Upon closer examination, it is the ritual of the Mevlevi dervishes. The ceremony involves participants extending their arms to the sides, with the right palm facing the sky and the left palm facing the earth, symbolizing receiving from God and giving to the people, all while accompanied by instruments like the Ney (Reed Flute).
