One of the best tours I have taken - Well organized and well run tour visiting some amazing sites. The best part of the tour was our guide, Martin King. Often times when you go on these tours you get guides who have memorized a script or perhaps done a bit of work studying the subject. Martin has published seventeen books, won Emmy’s, and been referred to as the “greatest living expert” on the Battle of the Bulge. Amazing depth of knowledge and a clear passion for the subject. He spoke the entire time we were in the bus transiting from site to site providing details on the battle and blending in amazing stories of personal interactions with Bulge veterans and other historical figures.

Very interesting. Our... - Very interesting. Our guide, Martin King, was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. It is a full day, could be too long for some. For me, I wish it would have been longer. We really enjoyed taking the trip with Martin and the bus driver, who was excellent also.

Outstanding tour guide and experience!!! - Martin the tour guide did a great job showing us the sites from the battle of the bulge. He was almost non stop the entire tour giving us very helpful information that I am sure other tour guides would miss. Meeting location was easy to find as well.

Great all day tour - This is an excellent WW2 tour focused on the battle of the bulge. It’s a long day, but well worth it. It includes a visit to the American cemetery, Bastogne war museum, the forest near Foy where the 101st fox holes are located, and a few other smaller sites. The guide is a passionate expert, author Martin King, who has written several books on the topic and has extensive knowledge. You have a chance to watch lunch at the museum.

Inspirational, bucket-list worthy, and well worth our time and money! - I booked this excursion, mainly for my husband, during our anniversary trip to Europe. He is a big WWII buff and a veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan himself. He absolutely loved the whole thing - especially the foxholes - and thought Martin, our guide, was excellent. Not knowing much about the Battle of the Bulge myself, I was pleasantly surprised how much I also enjoyed this trip. Martin was very engaging and knowledgeable. The monument at the cemetery, with the huge color maps, and the audio tour at the museum were easily my favorite parts. My only complaint was that we didn't have more time. Overall, we both had a great time and came home saying this was one of our favorite parts of the whole trip. Thanks, Martin!

Great commentary - Our guide, Martin King, was excellent and it was worth doing the tour just to listen to and learn from him. But the overall experience was a bit superficial and it would have been better to have more time on the ground in the Ardennes and less in the museum, which is not really just about the battle of the bulge but the whole war - not what I came to Bastogne for.
