Next, you’ll prepare stuffed vegetables and stuffed grape leaves (dolmades).
Then we will learn how to make kalitsounia.We use our rolling pins to roll out the dough for that!
Appetizers are prepared last but enjoyed first. Tzatziki, Ntakos, and Cretan salad.
Time to eat! Enjoy all of the beautiful traditional Cretan dishes you’ve created with copious amounts of local wine.
Be sure to leave room for dessert. Something sweet and seasonal.
Exact location will be emailed after confirmation. For idividual travellers or group less than 4 send me a message to check availability and participate with an other group.Feel free to ask for a discount for a group of more than 10.
Duration is 4-5 hours depends on the number of participants. We can prepare lunch (10:00-14:00) or diner (16:00-20:00)

Unmissable cooking class - best food during trio - My first ever cooking class on holiday but this class has certainly set a very high benchmark. Very professional set up. The location is at a beautiful olive grove, the host family makes you feel welcome and the food was the most delicious I’ve had on my trip. You’ll be making lots of different things such as a lamb dish, stuffed vegetables and dakos just to name a few. Such a high attention to detail, they even had aprons and chopping boards with their logo! If you’re in Chania, this class is a must.

Veerna’s Cooking Class - We had at the best time at Veerna’s cooking class! Lots of fun and laughs with the sweetest people. It was a beautiful spot in Chania and perfect weather. Everything we made was absolutely delicious!

Excellent experience - We had a fantastic afternoon/evening. The education of how to prepare the meal, the actual preparation, and then the enjoying of the meal was wonderful. We got an opportunity to talk with our hosts and the other guests. We would highly recommend this cooking class if you are staying in the Chania area. By far, the best meal we had on Crete.

Terrific experience in Crete! - This entire experience was 5 stars from beginning to end. We were picked up at the port and taken to Veerna’s kitchen. She and her staff we so kind and we all felt like family while we were there. We cooked SO MUCH food in 4 hours and it was all DELICIOUS. Even picky eaters like me had lots to eat! The home is situated by a beautiful olive grove and the gardens and seating area are picturesque. You need to do this while in Crete!

Unforgettable Cooking Class in Crete! - This cooking class was another absolute highlight of our two-week Greece adventure! Initially, we thought a four-hour class might feel long, but the time flew by. Veerna and her family were incredibly warm and welcoming, pouring heart and soul into every aspect of the class. We prepared a variety of delicious dishes using fresh ingredients, and Veerna guided us through each step with patience and care, answering all our questions. There were short breaks that allowed us to chat and bond with other attendees and Veerna's family, creating a true at-home, family cooking experience. We LOVED every second of this class and would 12/10 recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable experience in Crete.

Best Cooking Class EVER!! - This was the most FUN experience ever!! If you are a foodie - or just love food - and who doesn't..this is one not to be missed!! The area is beautiful and the teachings about the food and culture are not to be missed. It was a wonderful experience that I would repeat!! If you love food - this is the best and Veerna and her family are so wonderful and welcoming, you will love it!!

Great experience - We had such a wonderful experience at this cooking class! From the moment we arrived, the host and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. They were very accommodating to everyone’s needs and created a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. Great experience - It was great! Everyone has cooked their own main course, all wishes would be taken into account.
Veerna and her family explained great and were perfectly prepared for the very large group this time, the number of participants did not disturb at all.

Perfect cooking class for on our vacation - The cooking class was perfect! It was a hands on experience with delicious food that we made and delightful drinks! I would recommend it to anyone traveling to Chania!!
